Mic working on Skype but not on Steam/DayZ

I have been having a problem where I can't talk to people in-game or through steam. I've tried voice settings, I've tried changing USBs. I need help.

My buddy had this issue in game aswell with the last TS update he had to go in and adjust his settings back to his headset mic and reload the game after that it worked fine.

I fixed it. Thats exactly what I did.
