Inventory question

Hi,

I just started playing and the game seems like a lot of fun except for the extreme lags I have when there are a few buildings.

But to be honest I'm fighting more with the controls than zombies.

So I'm in a building and theres a flashlight in a bunch of stuff on the floor so I think "that could be useful" so I try to pick it up.

But then my weapon and all ammo are gone from my inventory and I cant get them back because they are not lying around anywhere anymore.

Why is that? Wasnt much fun so far..

alpha....and flashlights take your side arm slot....keep at it, eventually you'll learn all the little things to avoid doing such as picking up a flashlight when you have a side arm with ammo that you want to keep :D

Another tip, be pest to put weapons in your backpack. Then equip it if you don't wanna lose something. I find that works for me, and flashlights by them selfs are pointless unless you have a primary. There are a few side arms, e.g the G17 that have a flashlight equiped with them. I'm sure it's possible to mod flashlights to equip on all guns. But, it is in alpha. ;)
