Issues with Arma II

When I start up Arma II with Dayz I get two errors. One being "Addon 'dayz_code' requires addon 'CABuildingsParts'" and the other "Bad seriel number given in setup"

Can someone help me sort it out?

The game? Steam.

The mod? The Dayz installer from the forums.

Run Steam under administrator

Verify Game Cache integrity in Steam

Run both ArmA 2 and Arrowhead at least once through Steam

Try again!

I tried to check the integrity before but it didn't appear to do anything and I already run it under admin. I also ran both before I installed Dayz (Well I tried OA because it crashed on startup)

2. Launch ARMA 2 - Now u will not get Bad Serial error

3. Close ARMA 2

4. Launch Operation Arrowhead: Combined Ops

In that order.

Problem Solved.

p.s you might still get the CABuildingsParts error just continue as normal.

p.p.s Troubleshooting forum is that way ---> no wonder you had problems if you cant read.

this still did not work for meeee!!!! OMG iv tryed every thing!
