Weapon system for standalone

Recommended Posts

Probably same idea has been posted, but w/e Ill give it a try

As well as the already established attachment system (I think its been confirmed in the standalone? Like in ArmA3?) ,weapons should have the same kind of system as vehicles. Certain parts need to be maintained over time and some guns need more maintenance and more such than others. Different tools might be needed as well IE: An AK can be fixed with basic tools, whereas a sniper would need more precise tools or machinery. (Or something, dont really know much about guns). Would also be god to be able to right click on your toolbox for an inspect gun option to see its condition. I think there should be some guns that would be immune to completely breaking down, like the double barreled shotgun or at least able to operate in a very bad condition.

But, I think the standaone should have a pretty wide weapon range. Not realistic I know, but its more fun. I love finding a new cool gun to use, but after a while it becomes so-so to see the same ones. I dont care how rare they would have to be for them to fit in the atmosphere of game, but I would love it.

Got a few other ideas concerning machinery and such, but we will see how this goes down.
