Odrama Vin Laden 18 Posted October 22, 2012 So, I was just sitting here thinking, "How cool would it be if you just spawned in any random RESIDENTIAL HOUSE around the entire map. This would kind of give the feel of, ok an apocalypse just started, where do i go? The house would of course have the normal basic residential loot in it that could kind of kickstart your survival. A can of coke, maybe a tin of sardines, and if your real lucky maybe theres a revolver you have stashed in the cupboard for when SHTF. Idk, don't flame, just a thought. puppetworx 474 Posted October 22, 2012 It's not a terrible idea providing the respawn rate was limited to once every 5 minutes to prevent people from continuously respawning til they find an agreeable location.I think it will bump server load though as with everyone spawning around random buildings there will be a lot of populated zombies which could be an issue. It would add a lot of variety to the game and force people to explore the map, the coastal towns might even be less swamped.I'd love to see it done as an experiment. thelonewarrior 886 Posted October 22, 2012 I like this, however I woudl like a detection system in place so you cant spawn lets say within 100m of another player as this will just mean players appearing in front of each other at random all the time.It will also stop the snipers that wait at spawn points on the coast, I would like to see perhaps a test done as en experiment like puppetworx said Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
