ianramos 47 Posted October 22, 2012 (edited) Hello everyone. (:Well, I'm new here in DayZ. I started this week.So, that's the first time I could get good weapons and a lot of items, and didn't die. I'm very proud. hahaha.Welll... I was at the top of the fire department, and suddenly a little bug happened: I heard a sound of bones breaking and then a white icon appeared at my screen, I think that means I have broken bones, but I saw that I need morphine to save my bones, but I don't have any. I also saw that morphine might be found at the hospital, a little bit far from the fire department, I guess, and there's my question: What happens if I walk/run to the hospital to get morphine? I'll die on the way?What are my options? I'm affraid I can die... that's the first time I'm making something good here.THANKS. herrjon 478 Posted October 22, 2012 You can't walk/run. You can stand in place, but as soon as you move you go prone. Your options are to try to crawl around and sneak there without players or zeds catching you, or call a medic for help on the forum. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bizzyb 9 Posted October 22, 2012 This post is a hot mess. You can only crawl (prone), when bones are broken. Morphine fixes the broken bone, but you will still need bandages to stop any bleeding and food/blood pack if you lost blood. Broken bones also open up another option in the ESCAPE menu, which is respawn where you 'end the suffering'.Ive heard, pure speculation since I havent found confirmation, that "crawling" with broken bones or being in shock, especially when raining, makes you susceptible to infection by exasperating your temperature. When this happens you need antibiotics, which are crazy rare at hospitals and pretty rare at crashed choppers.Good luck. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The only thing 'different' is a white icon (looks like a jack unplugged, something like it) on the right side of the screen, on the same place where sometimes appears a yellow/red chain, or something.
