[Resolved] COMPLETELY Resetting Your ArmA Profile?

Recommended Posts

What I wish here to do is very simple in its idea. Instead of resetting my character, I want to reset my whole ArmA so it is as if I never played DayZ on that ArmA. I have never been banned from a server, and have never had any issues with BattleEye that people don't have already for being legit. I have a hero skin but... I just want to start straight from the beginning again. Cut all ties and start free, you know? So is it possible (without getting a new CD key or going on a private hive) to fulfill my wishes?

Yes. Just play on a private hive that isn't linked to the public hive and you're good to go. All of your character data is stored on the HIVE, so changing hives will start you with a fresh character...

you sir are asking for the impossible, and private hives are way better than public 10 fold.

@Fraggle

Thanks for the info. I suppose there is no way to send in an appeal to ask for it to be refreshed? No use, anyway, from what Daffyy2009 says, I might as well find a private hive and make it a home server. Thanks again.

@ebay

Well the point of adding details like I haven't been banned were to show that I wasn't just trying to get out of a server ban or anything. Actually I might be banned from one, because I remember that one time I didn't know trying to access server controls was anything bad, considering the option was available to everyone.... Still, that was really the only reason I said those things, to insure that you people would not think I was just trying to skip out on something like that.

What I'm asking though is if you can completely reset your DayZ character (in public hives) to the point where you have no gear, a survivor skin, regular humanity, and have to respawn when you go back into DayZ for the first time. But, I'll just try out a private hive, and that should fit my needs.

So resolved. Request thread lock?
