Relog, gear gone

I´m aware this has been adressed before, but i haven´t found a fix for this yet.

As the title says, once i relog, my gear which is placed in the main inventory (like beans, main gun ammo) and secondary inventory (pistol amo, bandages) is gone.

My weapons and my tools as well as my backpack and its content is still there, but these things aren´t. This happens on regular dayz as well as on the unofficial maps.

Oh my god, a reply, thank you, oh lord!

Because this problem has persisted since a long time, i have joined private servers, rejoined the same private server, joined public servers, rejoined the same public servers, joined different public servers, but it is always the same result.

I think i could lay my items on the ground and when i relog they should be there, but thats pretty damn risky.

One more thing..

When i start dayzcommander, it says "arma 2 combined operations not found", even though i have it installed. I also cant launch combined operations on steam.

There isnt a option to launch Combined operation on Steam anymore. It does it automatically. Have you ran both Arma 2 and OA separately before launching Dayz Commander?

Yes, also reinstalled both two times. But How am i supposed to launch OA separate from Arma2 if it automatically starts CO?

I keep wondering how anything client-side related can even be the cause of this, shouldnt that be a serverside error?

If its happening on every server then it is most-likely a client side error.

Now it tells me "Wrong CD Key LOL SUCKER"

I am frustrated and i will now wait for the fucking standalone, thank you a lot for your efforts though ;_;

I can´t even install the beta patch anymore....i would have to reinstall arma2 and request a new key for that.

You cant request a new key. Keys don't just disappear. It is tied to your purchase on Steam. it will never go away. What do you mean you cant install the beta patch anymore?

Like i said, when installing the betapatch it tells me i have an invalid key. I guess this is because i used one key twice for Arma Free.

Everything should be okay with OA though

Strange story.

Installed it on steam, deinstalled it and did an installation with the installer provided from arma2.com and used the key you get when right-clicking arma 2 in your library and click view key. You know what i´m saying?

If you mean why i used the same key twice, i didnt think it would have any serious consequences and i needed a new key, so....
