How long does a vehicle last in a server?

Do vehicles reset after a server restart? Or do some manage to stay where they are like tents do sometimes?

Since the latest patch they last forever or until they get destroyed. However, it is possible for it to bug out or whatever and disappear, but they do normally save, i havent had any disappear for good, I did have a vehicle that disappeared for a bit, but when the server was restarted it came back. So if your car disappears its worth going back after a restart to check again.
