eel 47 Posted June 15, 2012 Happened to me once too. I wasn't hungry, thirsty or anything. Fixed itself after relogging.
velkkis 0 Posted June 15, 2012 relogging didn't help me. if I'm sick, shouldn't the antibiotics help?
Wüstenfuchs (DayZ) 105 Posted June 15, 2012 Yes, antibiotics should help when you are sick.

TheDraken 19 Posted July 28, 2012 you'll notice that your character is also coughing. it means you have the flu. you will lose blood constantly until you dip below 6000 blood. try to increase your blood in any way and it will just fall back below 6000. the only way to fix it is to find antibiotics. which are impossible to find. so you might as well get used to having 6000 health or offing yourself to get it over with. ratfever 27 Posted July 28, 2012 You're sick. The only cure is the elusive antiobiotics, or a bullet in the head.
cipher88101 0 Posted July 28, 2012 I think they should increase the antibiotics spawn % some or do away with sickness altogether. It's an interesting feature, but is really an unnecessary one. There is still plenty of challenge in the game without it, but changing the spawn % to something above .22% would balance it out more and make it a lot more interesting imo. It adds depth, finding these antibiotics that seem near impossible to get to. It gives the heavily geared a reason to head into town. Even a 20-day player with an M107 can get sick, and this sickness can lead to his death.
Tithonus 11 Posted July 28, 2012 The sickness goes away after time, reguardless of having 6000 hp

NoRegrets 495 Posted July 28, 2012 It started when I got blood transfusion.OMG ... Its the beginning of the slow infection process of every survivor out there ... Game over ... Rocket trolled us and we will be the infected soon and when the game is standalone every standalone buyer will be a survivor and must fight us ...no need for zombie spawns ... no hive overload ... rocket is a smart man

ptk (DayZ) 178 Posted August 19, 2012 I had gotten sick before and it went away somehow. I never had any antibiotics. maybe I went to 6k and got another blood transfusion? there was a lot happening at that moment becausea friend and I were fighting off a hoard of zombies (of course, he was using an einfield before we knew that it was the dinner bell lol) while trying to do the loot loot shuffle (picking up, dropping and organizing loot with full packs). I remember using a heatpack too but I don't think this helped. I definitely can say that it did go away without using antibiotics though. in short, keep surviving!!
