How to read Log Files

We had a cheater on our Server witch teleported all vihicels on 1 point and teleported him self to the players and killed them! What can I do how can I speak to?

Someone did the same on my server, only they tried selling the vehicles back to us!

The vehicles are still somewhere really far away, 2 of them with my precious gear in it... :(

I'd really like to learn how to read them log files, so I can do my duties as server admin correctly... Are there any threads?

I am currently looking for a thread on some basic log reading,

For example this was in my setpos log; 30.10.2012 23:12:47: Username+IP+GUID - 143:241 [7706,2512,87] a

As he is the only one in that log file and the logfile is setpos with I guess coordinates [7707251587] we banned him out of precaution. I have no idea how to read the other logs though :\
