This happened to me when I first installed Arma + Day Z.

I had to uninstall and re-install the entire thing :(

On another note, do you even know what legit means? You did a good job of using it.. in the wrong context. Something like 'Reasonable reply' would've done you better.

if youre installing Arma II and OA from steam you have to make sure that when installing you have opened steam via Run as Admin or you will have some issues
