zantiago 119 Posted June 15, 2012 As stated, i will be starting up a clan very soon for scandinavians. We are just some friend's playing together now, but i wan't more action in terms of raiding cities and takeing over areas. So for this i will have to have 9other members i can trust 100%We are currently 6people.Some information regarding the clan*I have not come up with a name, we will do that together, so we can all agree on a name together, this way everyone will be happy with it, and feel that they contributed to the start of it.*Timezone is GMT+1*Spoken languages: Pref norwegian, but english works fine aswell.*Preffered nationalities: Swedish, norwegian, and danish ofcourse.*Communication will be Skype for the time beeingRequirements*Be 18+ years of age*Be mature*A teamplayer with good co-operative abilities*Beeing able to use the map and compass effectively, even if there are online map's that make's things easier.*Don't be scared of pulling the trigger, this is surviving. If i need food or water, i would never hesitate in pulling the trigger on a player simply due to supplies, nor would any of my other friends, so you can't be an diffrent.*Have some general knowledge about tactic formation, scouting, tracking, and counter tracking. The team as it is nowWe are 5people who are all former military and as such we have no problems co-ordinating the map, and useing the compass, and we have basic tactics for withdrawing and beeing offensive, we have a good sense of securing our own safety, and that of our team.We leave nobody behind, even if it means dragging someone up a 400meter 65degree hill to nurse his/her wounds in safety. Our 6th member is danish, but with no military background, but he follows our lead, and gives us plenty of laughs which helps set the mood while you are patrolling the jungle. Our GoalIt's simple really. We want to survive, and have a fantastic time in this game, and when ARMA3 comes out, the suspense and tension can be so intense at times, and we love it, we thrive on that aspect in this game, as we have felt nothing like it in any other game.We have not set up on a server yet, but that is the goal, and we are currently using american servers as we are all done at work at 6pm gmt+1 which means nighttime for us, so since we don't have NVR yet, we are lurking the daytime servers of the american community. This is by no mean's a flashy clan, or team, but we want to make ourself's known, and for that we will need YOU.We will not go above 10members, as i want 2x5man team's, and nothing more. Think of it in a tactical way, the more people, the easier you are to spot, and the bigger the camp will have to be, so if you are itnerrested, then contact me on the forum through PM's, or simplyadd me on steam: Svimle511Currently playing on: US3-4, Chicago30, Norway 1-2, SE3Thanks for reading, and i apologise for any poor grammar, or bad formating.Kind regards,-Z
h3x 0 Posted June 23, 2012 I'm interested in joining your group. I'm a 26 year old Norwegian guy, no mil background but I'm interested in small unit tactics and stealth that this game may bring. I've yet to actually play the game though, but I'll add you on steam and maybe you can show me the ropes...Ever thought about communicating through teamspeak instead of skype? It's very popular with the crowd over at tactical-gamer.

h3x 0 Posted June 25, 2012 Like I mentioned previously, teamspeak is the shit for game voip. Of course TS also has PTT. And different channels for team, squad, etc. :) I just like it a lot more than telephony voip solutions.
1337arne@gmail.com 0 Posted June 26, 2012 my experiences with voip pgm's is that ventrillo is the most reliable (IMO) TS is almost as good, i think have just become used to VT :).Mumble is the best in regards to ping/delay, it has almost no delay, but the services we have tryed, in my css clan, they havnt been as good as ventrillo. zantiago 119 Posted June 26, 2012 Hi everyone and thanks for takeing in interrest into this project. However i will have to give you my apologies, because as it stands now we are currently playing with Ravin and his comrades in U.B.C.S.The reason for this beeing that the project had a really slow start, so we didn't have any solid ground to stand on.So we have teamed up with U.B.C.S. and are playing under theire tag.Again, thank you to the interrested ones. And i wish you good luck in finding a suitable clan to play with. For the record.Playing with a clan makes all the diffrence as it opens up a whole new level to this survival game, bringing in teamwork, and everything.Best of luck to you.-Z
