the FEAR meter.

Recommended Posts

I got this idea while i was watching the '28 days later' movie.

It's a zombie apocalypse!

Of course everybody should be afraid and wet their pants.

The fear meter affects your accuracy of gun, headbobbing, i don't know, effects that could affect how easy u can survive.

You start with a very high fear meter which doesn't go down unless you're with someone else.

Teaming up with someone would decrease your fear slowly, thus adding more chance of survival.

if u seperate and become alone again, your fear increases.

Also, killing more and more zombies would decrease your fear slightly.

So, for lone wolves, u just need to kill a lot of zombies, or team up with someone at start.

I know this isn't perfect, but what's your opinion on this?

While the idea is fine, many people feel that it would be better if the player (read: human at the keyboard) was actually the one being scared, impairing their judgement, making it harder to aim, etc.

I only fear this kind of suggestions that force you to play in a way you may not want, in the end I want the same but there are other ways to get there.
