Turning over a new leaf

Hey guys. Ever since I have played Day z, I have been nothing but a bandit. I shoot first and ask questions later. Now, I have seen people on Youtube who play differently, they get their mic and tell them to drop their weapon. It looks so much more fun than just killing some poor player even if he is hostile. I want the public's opinion on my decision. Is it a good choice or bad?

I watch a lot of Frankie vids and he is such a good guy , i really admire him. BUT ! , I just can't bring myself to play like that, if I don't know the guy already , then i always end up shooting first asking later etc.. So I suppose im a bandit too, although I don't go looking for trouble , its just if someone gets in my way, imma gonna kill em.

Tried it. Met a few survivors but could not actually play together. (assholes in Cherno keep killing em leaving me alone :l)

I don't understand why so many people choose to shoot first, ask later, it's a lame attempt at survival.. is that really how you'd be in reality? ):
