Triela 0 Posted October 15, 2012 me and my buddy hang out with an atv.every time when we get out of the atv and searching for goodies, there are only few items are spawned...when I visit other server. there are full of items in every room in barrack.but me and my friend got very few items.right after we get out of the vehicle and go in to the barrack in NW airfield, there are no items! We need to wait 1~5mins for items to respawn.but when the items are respawned... there are only junks and common stuffs.(you know barrack, the mosthigh value items are spwaning)also items are not even spawned in all rooms... only 1~2rooms has items and other rooms are empty...what is the problem with this? : ( it's been 2weeks with this problem... I tried moving away from loot over 200mand wait 10~20mins... but it wont working)
GhillieTV 5 Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) The reason you are having trouble finding loot is the speed at which you enter an area via ATV, combined with the fact that you cannot set off spawns while in a vehicle. Loot spawns every 10 minutes, when you are within a certain zone. You will almost never hit a spawn timer while in a vehicle, because you tend to get off (allowing loot to spawn) within the no-spawn zone, whereas approaching by foot you generally do some zombie dodging, proning and whatnot that gives you more time in the desired area.EDIT: If you want the respawns to work properly, moving more than 200m is not how to do it. Check this thread for details regarding the spawning system for loot. Edited October 16, 2012 by GhillieTV
