Stuck on black loading screen

So when I try to join a server on the map Fallujah I get stuck on the final loading screen after "waiting for character to create" (The black screen with the only word "Loading..."). I sometimes get in but rarely. I have tried reinstalling the map, reinstalling dayz,checking Arma's game integrity through steam, pretty much everything. I also get this on chenarus (only other map I play), but not as bad. Any fixes?
