Cannot use Scope/no reticle/crosshairs.

Hello, I used Arma 2: Free and Arma 2: OA to play DayZ.

For some reason I could not use the scope on the M14, and I did not have a crosshair/reticle.

Could someone perhaps help me understand why?

A single right click should always bring up the sights with one exception to the rule, if you have been using your inventory in the crouch position it seems to cause a glitch that stops you scoping up. Press c to stand up and take a step and it should right it, don't press z and go prone if your on a building because the same glitch will make you take a few steps before laying down sending you over the edge like a lemming on heat.

I will try that next time I play. Though whenever I tried to use the scope with right click it zoomed in my vision, but not scope.

Don't hold right mouse just click it once to bring up sights. Holding right mouse will just zoom in, it will also zoom in another step on the sights.
