Mudpuppy (DayZ)

The "unconscious bug" is now taking the piss

Recommended Posts

Few days ago I was shocked and logged back in unconscious and ever since then I randomly log in unconscious. Today I logged in unconscious again while in a field and after a minute was attacked by a zombie. I really didn't want to lose this character who has some decent gear to a bug so I alt f4. Logged back in and not I have a broken leg, bleeding with liwish blood. I know I won't survive this and feel a little pissed off I'm going to lose my 5 day old character die to a bug.

I know the game is alpha but still, to lose a character in a survival game like this is a bit of a bummer. I guess I'll try to find a friendly medic and trade some gear.

Where are you at? I could help you out. No trade necessary

All you gotta do is ask for a Medic to Epi-pen you, Bandage, and Blood Bag you.

It's a pretty standard operation.

You may end up with a bullet and a teabag instead though. What timezone you playing in Mudpuppy?

Thanks for the offer HerrJon but I decided that since I'm new to the game the more I can learn the better :) So I decided to see if I could survive (I didn't) then find my body which I did and got all my gear back minus the ghillie suit which I'm actually pleased about since I believe they attract the wrong type of attention.

Well it's great to hear you have accepted your fate and pushed back to your body, if you keep playing that way you will be tops at survival in no time :)

Didn't know there was much to be learned from that situation, but I'm just glad you kept your gear and whatnot. If you do need help at all in the future, feel free to contact me or other TMW members. You don't have to worry about a bullet in the face, we're called the Trusted Medics for a reason.
