"Kicked-Battleye not responding" whenever I try to play on a dayz server

Recommended Posts

Hey and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read or even look at my thread

Basically every time I try to play a dayz server I constantly get kicked for "Battleye not responding" I have no idea how to fix this problem I have searched it up and none of the fixes have helped I have spent the past 8 hours trying to fix it and I am at the stage of just giving up.

Sometimes when I'm lucky I do not get kicked like yesterday I played the whole day without getting kicked once but, today is an entirely different story.

Hi TaintedSteel,

I was having similar problems as you. To remedy this I have started sitting in the lobby until I receive the Battleye Update message. After receiving that message I can join the server without being kicked. Joining before Battleye does its check can result in being kicked for not updating.

Cheers.

This usually happens because your router doesn't have any more connections to offer. This is more of a problem with older routers but even my new new top-spec'ed can struggle with this. When you have p2p/torrent running, fire up dayz commander which contacts 5000+ servers you exhaust the routers capabilities. Close your torrent client a few minutes before you want to play. After dayz commander is finished refreshing all servers, wait 3-5 minutes (depending on your router's timeout settings but 3 minutes is usually enough). Then join a server.

Another freak process I had consistently success with during these troubles (not leaving uTorrent up was the permanent fix as I discovered a bug in the router handling "zombie-connections") was downloading the BE client dll from BE's site to my desktop, then every time before I joined a server, i copied it to OA/Expansion/BE folder. I have no logical reason why this gave me 90% success rate before 1.17x versions but it did, so give it a shot.
