I wish dude, I all for vanilla and limited vehicles.

I have come to the conclusion that finding a server with no 5039580398530+ vehicles, start with nuclear missle/24/7 day bullshit is impossible, a small amount exist but they only have 2-3 consitant players. But this seems to only be for my time zone (PST) Are legit vanilla servers more common in other time zones or even other countries?

This is the correct place for it, don't worry :-) I've been playing on a Server with slight modified DayZ Version without any 3rd-party Downloads. Although it doesn't remove Weapons, it does have other thing's your interested in such as more Vehicles. Atop of that, the Admin's are always friendly & often update the Script's or add more in. Can't remember the name (I usually use DayZ Commander and I'm currently on my Laptop rather then Desktop), though if you search for 'PR' you should be able to find it. Some of the additions are thing's like Towing / Lifting broken vehicles (Goes well with added vehicles) and a few others. I'd suggest you check it out, at least, it's quite fun.

so i have been playing dayz for about a week or 2 now, jumping from server to server trying to settle in, but not finding anything ideal so was wondering: could anybody recommend a really good server, or at least 1 that fits my preferences (that being no sniper spawns, but still getting to spawn with a pistol and maybe some tools. has a decent amount of vehicles that dont require alot of time to get working and pvp welcome but not required) also would like to try something with new features, been hearing alot about AI and more vehicles/buildings/guns etc aswell as other new features i know nothing about Also, anybody got a recommended controller configuration? I have mine set up pretty well but i still have to use keyboard and mouse for some things like arranging my inventory and so on Thanks in advance, and im sorry if this is in the wrong place?

You have joined the server to fast and sometimes it will result in no vehicles on the map. Get someone to restart the server and give it some time to start up before you go into the server. This should fix it. :)

Im looking to meet some new peeps mostly from the US or anywhere in the western hemisphere to play Chernarus with me since I got a few friends that play DayZ but they never want to play Chernarus. You have to be mature and this means no squeakers. This is where im different from other people. I used to play DayZ back in the days when it was hard to find vehicles and let me tell you those days were really fun. Now I meet people and all they care about is how many people they kill. Depends really. I play on various servers with my friends. The most common one we play on has about 125 vehicles all together. But it appears it was just my GPU overheating & was just in need of cleaning. Now I'm back at top performance at about 30-40 fps ^- ^

i have watched all the devblogs only see loot being spawned in vehicles give me a link please? nothing about stripping vehicles and im talking about the mod dayz not the Standalone version -_-

The recent 1.7 update to Takistan broke the map so I made my own version of Takistan. I have fixed the problems, and completely updated it to 1.7.6 code as well as made several changes listed below with many more to come. I have named the mod simply @Takistan so it will not replace the current @DayZTakistan. I have also made a thread on the DayZ Commander forums in an attempt to get it added on there. Also will you be adding custom buildings to the server at all?, the map is starting to get boring now. For example a barracks at NEAF or the supermarket at kemenka or some more industrial buildings i.e the big construction building in some random places and maybe a firestation in Berezino? And are the extra vehicles back in like the 3 planes that spawn at NEAF?
