As an end result of my 1 week experiance on the server. i was banned from the Lingor server. I was banned for even questioning the admins teleporting and spawning of gear and vehicles. As of now the only admin on the server who knows how to run a successful server is deathcall. The other admins are far more concerned about their personal enjoyment such as teleporting around killing people, then the population and quality of the server. If you are reading this and are considering the hunting grounds as a primary server, please consider this account of admin abuse and when it might happen to you. The admins are well known for their spawned in gear as well as vehicles etc. They may not bother you now, but what happens when the server population falls and you are sitting in a 0 player environment with a dmr.

Holy shit I used to play on there. They got taken down by a bunch of hackers, didn't know they we're such big pay2win fans. I would have thought that 1000+ vehicles and 50+ choppers would be enough.

Of course, on private servers it's their own business. Personally, I'm not a fan of giving players anything for a donation. I can see that a skin might not be so bad (so long as it's not a ghillie or other skin that provides an advantage), but giving players an advantage over other players - weapons, vehicles, etc... - for payment just seems wrong to me.

Event: Roadtrip with a deadly curve Date: Friday 10-05-2013 Time: 19:00 GMT +1 Place: Kamenka to Berezino Goal: Get a grip of the convoy full of goodies Description: There will be a secret mission going on this friday. A convoy moving from Kamenka to Berezino will be delivering supplies. This convoy will be loaded with weaponry/ supplies that are essential to surviving on the hostile environment of Chernarus. All participants will have to bring their own car or make an ambush in which they can chase or ambush the ADMIN-crew. Your goal(solo or in a group) will be to get these cars because they will have some great stuff sitting in it to be taken. AI and NPC Non playable characters (NPC) aka Artificial Intelligence (AI) spawn. There are 3 types of AI that can spawn in towns and specific areas or wander the map. The three types are Survivors (Kill Zombies and player bandits, lightly armed), Soldiers (Kill zombies AI and player bandits, friendly toward everyone else, heavily armed), Bandits (Shot everyone except each other onsite, type of weaponry varies). Wandering Ai will often time be seen driving or flying vehicles depending on what they can find. If you kill an AI yes you can take their guns, ammo and gear. Team Speak and In Game Chat Team Speak for all who want, there is also open chat on the side channel (Press “>” to get to the side channel the press “/” to chat or Hold caps lock for push to talk) Safe Zones Elektro is a safe zone via TSW Dome tool and AI. You will be warned upon entering Elektro that there is no PVP, only PVE. Trading and teaming up are always welcome. Zombie killing AI NPCs can be found patrolling Elecktro as well. More specifically there is a small base with a Green Hanger in South Elektro for meeting up. Free medical supplies and tents can be found there. Due note that in these safe zones there are 20+ Anti Bandit AI that will fire upon bandits onsite. More safe zones around the map are coming soon! Custom Buildings and Military Bases Over 1500+ Custom Objects, Buildings and military bases have been added. 6 New military bases around the map have been added, and yes they spawn loot. 30 Hunting stands along and by the coast have been added. Various Military Checkpoints along the highway. Coastal Highway fires so new players can see in the dark Custom weapons Such as SCAR variants, more M4 and M16 variants, Snipers, G36 Variants, AK variants, RPK, RPD, SVD, Mines, RU Gernades, IED, XM8, XM8 LMG, XM8 Sniper, PDW Silenced, Primary Gernade Launchers and much more. In addition to active server monitoring from TSW via my tablet and my computer. Even if an Admin isnt on we still always see what's going on. Glitch Recovery Loose your gear because a door closed on you and broke your legs? Accidently press V instead of instead of x while in a sniper tower? Loose co We'll review the logs and check how you died and what you had on you, then we'll heal you and if need be spawn you back with your gear. Missions Custom missions have been added. Some you will need to fight through Bandit preparing for ambushes, or 30 zombies at a time. You will be sent off on missions like finding secret bunkers or locating a downed Spec Ops C130 even raiding a derailed train thats been turned into a bandit base. Missions are updated at least once a week. Rewards consist of weapon creates depending on mission difficulty (ex. Bandit bases are Special PMC creates including XM8s, C4 and Scars), food boxes, medical boxes, special rare vehicles, and other survival equipment. Current missions are listed at the bottom under leaderboards. Custom Starting Gear Glock or M9, 2 mags, Bottle of water, 1 can of food, map, flashlight. Subject to change for balancing purposes. A: If starting from DayZ commander, Make sure everything is up to date. If starting from steam, start the game with Beta Patch when prompted. Rarely happens but If you still can’t solve it, I can give you a copy of the 320kb mission file to put in your profile that will allow you to see the vehicles. Q: Why are the AI shooting at me? A: Either you’re a bandit or they’re bandits. Also you can Agro them even if you’re not a bandit. See the Ai section above. If your humanity falls below 0 (or you kill 2-3 friendly players or AI) you will be shot on site by most AI. You can get your humanity back up overtime (few days) or by spending time around other players. If you find it annoying that all the AI shoots at you just ask and I can restore your humanity. If you mistakenly were shot while walking in front of a friendly AI I will look at the logs and maybe consider it glitch and recover your character. Q: Just got kicked for trying to shoot a rocket missle, bomb and or all of the above. A: Overpowered weapons are still banned to keep things in balance. Q: My character glitched and died? Is he gone forever? A: Contact me via PM or steam (JDMTeckademics) and I’ll look at the logs and see how and where you died. If it really was a glitch then yes I’ll recover your character. Q: My vehicle blew up or ran out of fuel can you repair it or refuel it? Another personal observation here on how to keep things from getting stale. Take more risks. You've got yourself all geared, you have your vehicles, and you got that way by being smart and careful. Well stay smart but ditch the careful. And make it about the other players on your server. Make an effort to interact a LOT good or bad. Hunt down everyone you can, this is dangerous and unless your server is really bad will probably end in your own death. Or help everyone you can, every person who needs a ride or medical attention as long as they aren't a known bandit. Play smart still, so scope out the area don't walk into a certain death trap. If you have a suspicion it MIGHT be a trap though, try and beat it. Don't just avoid a dangerous situation, seek it out and try to beat it. Hunt the good guys and save the bad guys, just be risky! No more fat sack of loot when the bambi had sniper cover. Or bigger sack of loot when you killed the sniper and the bambi :)

Some clarity: We play vanilla in Beck's Private Hive. We already have a camp and some gear to include vehicles.

Along with many DayZ servers we started hosting an Origins one as well.We got a stable community,clan wars,and a friendly playerbase,lots of strangers team up and actually be friendly to each other without betrayals!We need clans and players,we need more clans so we can expand the clanwars,and have constant fights everywhere,we need survivors to build bases and stuff,and we need lone wolves that pop out of nowhere to help or kill.We got many vehicles and choppers,and the server is stable,restarts everyday etc.So far we have no hackes on,but when we get our first,we'll whitelist the server. We also need a new mayor of Salvation!After my clan's recent raid in the city noone was left alive,and i elected my self mayor of Salvation!The next person that kills me,gets to be the mayor,and we will gift him his own private chopper! I think the point of .50 cals in DayZ is to blow up people's vehicles they worked hard to repair Like how you think make it look like the as50 is the only military weapon. I would like to see more marksman riffle such as an AWM, or maybe to to give an options to snipers, a DSR with subsonic and piercing rounds you can swap around with in order to adapt to most situations.

Like I said before, 3dp was included as a "substitute-sense" to give players awareness of their own body and their positioning in relation to the environment. Removing the free-look ability would be defeating the purpose for which it was included in the first place. That being said, I would be happy enough if 3dp showed only your own character and the surroundings, without showing other players, zeds, animals, loot, vehicles etc. That's just my take on the subject. I KNOW that other folk don't agree with me on this, which is precisely why I don't keep suggesting it over and over and over and over and over..... (Hint hint ;))

The thing is, once you explore the map build up a sweet little camp, get a few vehicles or a heli then what.... there is no end-game. This is literally what happened to me, I played on a server with my wife and once we had just about everything you could possibly get we just ran out of things to do. She was a strict non PVP'er and she got her first player kill before I did, and now all we do is hunt people. Aside from the people who play purely for the PVP aspect, everyone will run out of things to do eventually and then what else is there? Even playing as a "Hero" you will run up against players who want to shoot you on sight, there is no escaping it. So either embrace it for what it is, maybe find a different server or move along.

This, if people want to play like this why can't they? Especially on their own servers. Some people don;t have time to spend 4 hours looking for some beans, they just want to have a fun evenings game in a cool game, if you make the standlaone game ultra hardcore a lot of people won't play it and the game will eventually die a death. Why can't you have on one side servers where starting loot is really low, zombies are tougher, military kit is harder to find, vehicles are very rare etc. to suit the hardcore survival players and then have the complete opposite for those that want it? The standard game should be somewhere in the middle. Why the f*ck should we all play the way a few people want it played? A lot of people here remind me of the old battlefield forums, Mordor as some people called it who were all resistant to change and basically it was their way or no way. I will never understand this attitude of people disliking different types of gamers when modding and PC severs gives you the opportunity to cater for most tastes, yet people still moan.
