You can find repaired vehicles that other people has repaired and steal them, not sure if some vehicles spawn already repaired, and yes the vehicle and your gear would get saved, but I believe other people can steal your gear and vehicle when you are not playing.

yo guys, i am playing for about 2 days and i am worrying about some vehicles cuz i didnt see a single one..can i find some working vehicle without repair need ? well, after ill get any vehicle, my guestion is..can i save vehicle somehow? i mean if i log off..will vehicle stay there, and what about my gear in vehicles..will they stay? thx for answers ^^

Hi guys, yesterday I was just starting another character from scratch again when I met a stranger and decided to work with him. We then got ''rescued'' from a zombie outbreak by a strange white-bearded man and his black car. At first I thought it was all legit but then people told me it was a hack, which is clearly the case. I didn't know all the vehicles of Dayz at that time and this is why I got myself lured into this trap. That was still funny and I thought it was worth sharing. So, BEWARE of the white bearded man with the black car! &hd=1

That's okay, it's a free bump for the thread. I don't specifically need a DMR but if you need any random items that you're willing to trade for them I'd take one or two... Same with a PDW. I slightly regret putting a server in the title but hopefully people will realise that's more for the vehicles I want and that they can trade any items across any server.

Well, don't we have the most angry little tyke here. Also I hope you do realize Rodder already came clean on you guys so im not sure what the point of this was. And don't worry, when i get some spare time here at work ill check the current logs and ban you as well. Why was I logged out at your base? because i was checking the server logs. 7 as 50s? clearly you dont know your own camp then, the UARL itself had 21~ AS50's, and the bus i saw had i believe 10 more, it was well over a threshold of normal hoarders, as rodder already said only the 7, that you probably are talking about, were legit. Why didnt i destroy the vehicles? Because if you had been playing this game for more then a day you would realize that on server restart most vehicles that were destroyed will reappear back at the last location fully repaired with all its gear. The same happens with tents. The reports i got of a town being destroyed was cherno, maybe he meant elektro, i dont know, i dont care, it doesnt matter which, the important detail was that it was reported that half of the city was blown up, hospital firehouse, etc. And there were multiple bodies from Max, some of which still had satchel charges. Again, Rodder already verified the demolition. Lastly, why didn't the two guys on the atv shoot the truck? because they saw it hundreds of meters away and eventually lost track of it while trying to follow it. I don't know what the hell you're trying to accomplish here but shallow threats and crying will do you no good.

Here, we state our opinions on what weapons should be brought into the game and taken out aswell, same goes for the vehicles. To be quick, I'd like to see more Russian weapons and less Western weapons, tbh none. No opinion yet about the vehicles. Can't wait to see some more suggestions.

What a waste of a trap. I would have brought some of those vehicles to one of the main cities and blow out the tires. Find a nice place that you can the car and wait for the noobs to come along to find a fresh cup of death.

Knock on wood, so far no. We thought we log a bunch of stuff one day, but it was just the tent was at capacity and dumping the loot like 30m away on the ground.... I stumbled on it by accident and freaked out that someone else was at our camp and dumped their goods.... turns out it was just the tent's "dump" spot. I would agree that small groups get things and horde them. Once you have a working vehicle, getting more becomes much easier. First being able to travel quickly to the other vehicle spawns is a nice perk, also savaging for parts on foot is a huge PITA and hard since you need sooooo many open inventory slots to carry these items, opposed to having a car to get you to these places and then being able to load the found parts for the next vehicle inside your current one. We had a skoda for a while and with us getting other vehicles better suited for off-road travel we drove the Skoda down to the west-side of elektro with food, soda, a AKM, G17, med supplies, and survival gear and just left it for some lucky new spawning character.... you're welcome BTW.

It is not fake man. At first I thought it was a car in Dayz since I do not know every vehicles of the mod. Because otherwise, I would have never entered that car. I told you guys, it happened exactly as showed in this video and this is why it is so funny. Anyways, thanks for watching!

You wouldn't have to scam to sell items in DayZ. Me and my teammates have gathered a huge stash just over the last couple of days. We currently have 34 high tier primaries stashed in vehicles and tents, at least when I counted them yesterday (it's possible we have lost everything by now, of course). By "high tier" I'm referring to weapons that spawn at heli crash sites and the barracks, to make myself clear. We would've had even more if we hadn't been admin abused, for the record.

Teams definitely "hog all the stuff" which is why that's where you should look for vehicles, at player camps in remote areas. Northeast, northwest, at the dam. Of course, vehicles get stuck and crashed all the time so you will find them randomly in towns with shitty roads as well.

Just wondering, how many vehicles spawn on servers? can it be altered? Or do teams just hog all the stuff?

Ill start my reply off by identifying who i am and what i do. I am over watch for Rodders group of players and your story doesnt quite check out. 1.There was not 30 as50s there were 7. 2.We blew up Electo not Cherno 3.There was not 7 Bodies named Max. 7 people didnt die in town let alone die WITH satchel charges. Max died 2 times trying to get his gear back due to buggy rubble, and rodder died once to the same thing, 2+1=3 not 7. Nor were they all named max. Only Myself and Rodder placed Satchel charges and you have no idea what my name even is. 4.The satchel charges were not duped or exploited in any way. They were on the bus we stole from another camp and i promise you they just kept spawning on the bus. 5. Russian IPs ? You are braindead. Dont try to over-glorify a story to make us out to look like server crashing dickheads. We all already had everything in the game we needed and accidentally figured out how to dupe.So we decided to have fun with it. And just so you know just because "your server" gets checked for helis after every restart does not mean people cant server hop in fields to get loot from other servers. 17 NVGs and 7 AS50s is not a lot by any means if you know how to server hop for helis. Everything thing here is 100% bullshit. I shot 2 of you at camp. Not max, not rodder, not sparkys, me. You didnt see me because i was far from you guys and thats why i didnt get banned. We moved all of our vehicles after we killed you guys ramboing into our camp. And sabotaged the remaining stuff. You say you had people on atvs following these 2 random guys that were in trucks. Why wouldnt you just kill them ? You have an ATV they are in a truck, you could have easily killed them and looked to see if it was our vehicles. Oh and by the way i just logged in at our new camp to find that our Ural is gone. Im going to go ahead and look for it and then camp it out. Better hope i dont stumble upon it and find you, because you will lose your server if thats the case.

yeah, run the arma II by itself, or run it as operation arrowhead (better). they have nice drills for stuff like movement, shooting different arms, night vision, and even driving vehicles. they really help. you can calibrate your machine (video settings, key bindings, etc) too. i ran through these a couple times, and did key re-assignments, etc until i was totally comfortable with the setup. ;)

If i was to go about reseting all the vehicles how would i do it. I have a hfb server

I have sat and watched unrepaired vehicles before as they are wonderful bait. Despite the large map, it's very possible to have people bump into you in the middle of nowhere. Nut up or shut up.

Sounds like you need someone to watch your back so that things like this don't happen... also, sounds like you need anger management. Getting killed is part of the game.. at least you see repairable vehicles.. I've been playing this game for a LONG time, and the only vehicles i see are the ones that are being driven by other people... Take a few deep breaths, and start again. It will be ok.

I dont think they should be removed from the game. They are anti material rifles and they can be used to take down vehicles or aircraft really good. I would like to see the feature of putting a second primary weapon in the backpack slot instead of a backpack. So you can quickly change your weapons in the fight.

We've gone from 9 vehicles to 2 in less than a day. Easy come - Easy go.

Me and my friends were on this server on Monday, July 16th @ around 12am Eastern timezone (GMT -5) We had just filled our ural and moved to a new campsite. We began looking for other vehicles and boats along the coast when i was killed in Berezino. My friends acquired most of my stuff but we were missing some crucial items so we headed back towards camp. Around this time the server admin began saying things in console chat. Saying things like "Lookout (insert name here) DayZ Dan and (my other friend) are closing in on your position!" Sure enough we came across the player in question 30 seconds later. We then came across two of the resident clan guys <AcG> jesus and <AcG> (forgot his name) and promptly killed the latter. The Jesus guy server hopped with low blood to escape. JUST AFTER we had done that, the server console said something like "Oh (guys name i forgot), you were my Morpheus". The console also said things like "Dayz Dan gave me the best night of my life last night" and other such things. IMPORTANT PART: We were almost back to where our camp was hidden, an amazing trek to undertake if you don't have any vehicle, not to mention how well hidden it was... (we own half the vehicles on the server) and suddenly shots were fired from a click away along the hills. We serpentine and duck for cover in several patches of pinetrees. We were all subsequently shot THROUGH pine trees while prone and still moving from at least a click away (the m107 sounded like machine guns but were at least 1000 away from the soft noise). Unknown how many guys were there, we had no visual. The suspicious part is our campsite had only been there for about 30 minutes, it was extremely remote, it was all too convenient that we had just killed some clan members and the server admin was viewing our locations through admin powers and we get sniped with near precision while changing directions through pine trees from a far distance away.... *edit* BOTH OUR CAMPSITES (COMPLETE OPOSITE ENDS OF THE MAP) WERE' SIMULTANEOUSLY RAIDED. aLL VEHICLES FROM BOTH SITES ALSO TAKEN.

and yes i have all this cool stuff and if your going to ask how I will tell u I have 13 Vehicles and no job or life lol trade in your GF and if you played as much as me your could have all the stuff I do as well lol but take it from me keep the GF lol

I have also been having problems with server/character and/or Hive being out of sync. Yesterday i spawned as far NE as possible on DE238 looking for tents and vehicles, when i was getting low on food, drinks. I decided to walk to Krasnostav to raid the supermarket, along the way visiting the Olsha Radio tower to see if the bike was there and lucky me it was sitting there nice and crisp. So i biked my way to the supermarket to fill up on provisions with the eventual plan to go to berezino and put my DRM to good use by providing newby survivors with some fresh bullits ;) I waited about an hour before the first survivors showed themselves and i got some action, killed one and the other logged off XD nothing new so far. After waiting another half an hour with some zombies moving in the city i had to take a quick bio, so i logged off to the lobby for easy login. When i got back i was about 2 hours back in time in frikkin Krasno! Food and drinks meters werent reset but my bag was missing all the cans i put in there before, the DRM mag i emptied in Berezino was also back in there. Also behind the bush where i initially left the bike at the point where i was raiding the supermarket was no Bike! I stopped playing then because i was afraid of what i could loose next, i would hate to see any of my shiny goodies be lost only to some dumb server error. Other then getting honestly shot over them :P Is this some expanded Extra Cruelty after 7.2.3 that wasnt in the patch notes?

Rodder, Thanks for the explination. I don't really need to say anything further in regards to that then as I was right to assume foul play. To BlackOverlord and Vulture, what happend last night then was a case of the wrong place at the wrong time. What I can assume here is that while Rodder's group was spreading their vehicles out after I found their camp and shortly thereafter I banned them, you guys stumbled upon their vehicles loaded with the exploited gear. I had about 6 people on vent locating the vehicles when two of them on an ATV spotted you two in two of the trucks we knew to be Rodder's. At that point I assumed that I had missed a couple players and added you two to the ban list. Basically you two got caught standing over a dead body covered in blood holding a stolen gun so I acted with precaution until It could be sorted out. As soon as I can I will go ahead and unban the two of you and keep the rest still on the ban list.

My thoughts too.... Its one thing to get killed because you're sloppy or someone is just better than you, it is a whole other thing to lose your gear because you magically get logged out twice and sent to the ocean. We still have 5 vehicles at our "home base" and we know the names of at least two of the others who made it away.... so it should just be a matter of time before we catch up to them again. One thing I think would be really great (after this ordeal) is having something you can place on items, or "tag" items to be traced/tracked be your GPS..... like you leave loot that is "tagged" and then you can follow it via GPS .... end game would be to almost "bait" someone to leading you to their tent/vehicles where you can then loot them/recover lost or stolen items.
