I call BS purely on the fact that you had to edit your post numerous times Lucy, which is probably because the 1st couple versions might have been even more unbelievable than your current one. You say that you had sight on them the entire time with an AS50 when he said he was flying around for 2 hours huh? You must have some amazing sight with that gun. You say that that the 2 in the chopper were the only people online that weren't in TS with you or were your friend.. Yet they had a 3rd person in the chopper. How exactly did you know which 2 were the ones flying it? How did you guess correctly? You could have kicked someone innocent. You contradict yourself so much that I have to believe that this is a lie to keep you out of trouble. Try proof reading before you post. Btw, I have been kicked numerous times after doing something that displeased an admin such as killing them/stalking and stealing their vehicles and it is really sad at how much you people abuse your powers when we are all just trying to have fun.. Now i'm not saying that you are 100% lying.. But your awful story is really suspicious so I don't believe you. Just a side note, being nice and offering compensation won't get you out of trouble. If this really did happen, you need to accept the punishment and not do it again. My best advice is- If you see someone driving/flying a hacked vehicle, take the shot. If you had, none of this would have happened.

Yeh everyone just calm the hell down. I own the server and I am in control of what is going on here, I disabled BattlEye specifically so that we could spawn vehicles and have some fun without having anything interfering. By the way it is a standalone server, so anything we do on this server, does not effect the characters on official ones. You all sound like a bunch of eight year olds.

Don't park vehicles beside tents maybe?

Greetings! Recently created a server. But we've discovered, that there's no vehicle spawn (at all). How to solve this issue? Ty beforehand.

I find post's like this offensive to my intelligence, Games are only as dull as the players imagination. Point 1. There are a load of playing styles, it isn't about collecting stuff, snipers, bandits, camp destroyers,hatchet killers. medics, pains in the arses. murderers. logistics, traders. Co-operation is down to the players not Rocket. Point 2. This is about losing kit again. Anything with the popularity of DayZ will attract the hackers, You remember it's alpha, this can be exploited and abused. I have never found a hacker in game (perhaps it is due to low player servers i am on?) I go around looting and depleting other players camps, I am no hacker. If you leave your camps and vehicles in out of place areas, I will look for it every time i play, the only way I wont loot it is if You guard it all around the clock. I do like the sound of private servers where me and my friends can play in a secure place free from Hackers, it is the apocalypse I'm here to play not I've got more than you. Point 3. I do believe admin need more control over servers, but being an admin is also being abused by some. I have been kicked because I stole a vehicle of an admin member. That's not the reason for being an admin is it? Yes mistakes happen because info is hard to prove. I do not know much about hosting servers but come on this is Alpha these things happen, I believe its down to the community to do something about it and raising it is the first hurdle. Point 4. I play solo, if i consider a situation as a threat I get out of there, if the players tell me they are friendly I watch them closely and play along with them, you can tell a sincere player after 10 mins. I'm a part time medic and judge players on my encounters with them. After patching up a player I have never been shot at by them or felt threatened by them. I have been shot by snipers and that is fine, it's their playing preference. I can stand over a town and offer support via sniping to new players with no kit. each to his own. There are clans out there they recruit all the time there is plenty of co-op going on, some players don't want to play that way. Point 5. This is about kit again, I never owned a tent, but I have destroyed many even if I know it may or may not re-spawn later. Every player starts off with a few items and then they take it about themselves to find all the goodies they want. If you didn't build camp sites then you wouldn't be able to duplicate stuff on a faster scale. I have all my kit from you campers, cheers you made it possible. I believe Rocket and Co are working on this issue, so patience is a must. I have never owned N.V.G, rangefinder, as50, any S.D weapon, Mountain Dew, big Coyote backpack or satchel explosives But I search every tent I come across because it's easier than finding them the good old fasioned way. It all boils down to how you play the Mod and I believe you understand it is in Alpha and this is where many players forget it isn't a finished product, there will be issues after each update until it is finally sorted. Just grin and bare it, you make the game what it is. All those who are taking a break, come back and play the game you love, because you will miss it and if you don't, fine it is not for you, but the community is moving ahead Look at Lingor, more to play and explore. Well this is why I was global banned after someone on the forums said i was a hacker ive never hacked in this game and never will battleye has just given me a global ban after i stole a chopper from a DayZ server the other day And the admin hates me for taking his vehicles from his "Admin camp" anyways yeah Battleye is just pathetic hacking too either way this battleye or that someone is in my steam account seeing ive been having logging in problems the past few days Anyways yeah thats why I have to go buy a new code to play this mod and the game its self anyways im posting this here seeing battleye still hasent responded to my Email's about being banned... so yes and it says i was script editing ? what is a script? Please give me an awnser?.

Search 'DayZ Mobile'. It's basically the DayZ wiki put onto your phone, very useful. Has info about all the weapons, vehicles, equipment, consumables. It has a standard map and a loot map, loot tables. Info on survival (food, water, blood levels etc etc), a server list and the latest released patch notes. It's perfect for what your looking for and it's free!

I beg to differ on LU92 :) Friendly Group of mature players (Including ourself) Lost ALL of our vehicles to "Legit" players. We didn't do any of that. Instead, We split up and searched top and bottom of the map. Let's just say... We have some of our vehicles back and a couple of dead survivors behind us. Good fun!

hey can anyone suggest a place to either buy a good server or do they have a server that is generally free of hackers and doesn't have a administrator that keeps restarting the server to hoard the vehicles? I have a group of including myself stationed over here in Korea and we're tired of shitty admin's and the fact some allow the hacking. Thanks in advance

I found a camp with some vehicles and loaded one down and went to blow the other up. I shot it up with my AS50 a few times wanting to see it go boom and I was kicked from the game for this same "Script error #55". Came back in and it was gone so I assume it blew. Hopefully this helps get down to the cause of this. *Edit* - Yea I just realized the vehicle I shot up was a tractor just like in the video, probably something bugged with vehicle damage or something?

It is cool to have I probably would have set up a camp and taken it there just to have it for future encounters with vehicles and helicopters.

Wait seriously, it's apart of the game. Taking stuff from other players you should get banned :D someone didn't get there beans this morning. I just thought i should quote on this considering that your mad at someone else taking someone elses stuff. Which happens all the time in DayZ and thats the most fun is raiding camps. Yet people hoard vehicles. Im sure they can get there stuff back in a day i've already found 1 M4 CCO SD a m24, saw 200 rounds, m9 sd. and that's my worst day.

Extremely nice story pal. If you need some people to roll with send me a pm. We are survivors so we avoid confrontation with bandits (Other Players. everyone tend to shoot first and ask questions later) We are only 3 but atm have a nice arsenal of weapons and vehicles in our camp :)

Thanks, I'm a shining example to people like you who cry about gear that they probably duped anyway. The one positive thing about hackers is them destroying vehicles, and allowing them to spawn around the map rather than having someone hoarding them all for absolutely no reason. Learn what an alpha is, cry if it's still happening in the full game.

We've lost two camps bigger than yours, and multiple vehicles to hackers. And none of us are that mad or crying about their YouTube "fame", because it's an alpha.

I really don't get the hate for posting camp locations. Grow a pair and stop whining about losing gear or learn to hide it better. Do you kill people to loot them? Do you do your best to deny rival players good equipment? Are you claiming that anytime you kill someone you don't leave them and tell no one where the corpse is because it would be unfair for the person who might be running back to reclaim their gear? No reason why the OP shouldn't take what he wants then tell everyone else the location. Meta-gaming it through the net is the same as if we had radios and he broadcast the coords. You'd still need to know how to read a map to find the location AND you would be very much aware that others were also on their way. Your super secret uber camp location isn't. My first camp went a week without being raided and I was actually surprised it took that long. I lost a bunch of nice guns sure, but they were in my tent because I didn't have a single clip for any of them. I moved my vehicles away from the camp, and since then, my tents are secure, even if my vehicle hunt is an ongoing process.

Hi! If its already said - I have to say it again. Here is idea: 1. Weapon clips don't disappear when depleted. 2. Clips can be refilled near ammo box. 3. Ammo boxes situated in military buildings (police offices?) 4. Any of clip can be refilled near single ammo box (no questions about fuel types for different vehicles? So, let it be!) 5. Make ammo boxes (safes) closed. Player need a crowbar to open it. Also crowbar can be hanged on belt. You ask me why? Here is answer: 1. I think this will make game more interesting. I like to fill water canisters and jerry cans - its fun! 2. Upcoming update will fix endless ammo - it will make game harder and less funny. So, this idea makes this update less destructive and more interesting (ammo still endless but you have to deserve it!) 3. Ammo boxes will not break balance because they situated in military buildings. Its a dangerous spot where all the fight is going. Also you will have to find crowbar. Thank you. p.s. I shot him 10 times in the head and he continued moving around unfazed. I called him out on hacks over the mic and he denied it, jumping off the building to prove it. I heard the bones crunch, but it took his character at least 15 seconds to die. (Turned off the hack.) Minutes later, a black SUV came strolling through town, driven by Chinaman and his buddy. I ended up killing them, only to be greeted by a Hatchback not even a minute after. He was in the drivers seat once again. My group decided to log out in fear of losing our gear.

same here, also had an old bike turn into a motorcycle after restart... vehicles disappear, dont save, move suddenly, reappear broken... Tents dont get me started. Fixing this kind of stuff should be #1 priority for next patch. It's annoying as hell, makes vehicles pointless (time spent / benefit ratio too low), and the fact of being effectively UNABLE to store items anywhere is highly unrealistic, despite realism being (according to Rocket) the cornerstone of this mod. FIX IT !
