I use the day z db map(not sure how current it is but never in tons of servers i goto do i ever find a vehicle i can repair and or drive...when they blow up do they go back to their spawn points or where they were detroyed? and tricks or tips to finding any thanks!

This is top priority not the fcn 100/150 ppl on the server

Basically i'm on a server that I play on regularly and I've finally decided that I want a vehicle - however i'm not really sure my server has any and I don't want to waste time searching for them if they aren't present at all. Can anyone tell me how to check if there are any? Server is "DayZ Zombie RPG DE279", it would really help me out. Cheers. :)

Tonight at NE airfield me with 2 friends found a UAZ a bus and a van also 3 other bicycles. We took them and hid them without thinking if they could be hacked. It crossed my mind when I heard a chopper in the distance (I think it's not ingame anymore) If the server admin can read this please don't ban me and my friends but ban the one who spawned them and remove the vehicles from the server. Also had a few items in them but nothing worthy or out if the ordinary.

I've played for awhile and i'm wondering what condition to vehicles spawn in? Is it all red? like no tires, no engine, etc kind of thing? or is the vehicle just missing certain parts? Before someone posts the useless post saying "have you tried searching?" the answer is yes i have, and i can't seem to find results

Hello, Firstly I apologise if this has been covered before, but i cant seem to find a clear answer to my question(s). But first alittle story, Me and my buddies had come under fire and were heavy wounded, the guys sniping at us had logged off as soon as we found there location so we sprinted not far NW of the hospital in cherno, one friend was killed by a zombie (fail). Me and the other friend, sat on the hill waiting for him to respawn come back. However the server then went down. 10 minutes later back up, all is well, but wait! There is a fully repaired truck (Army Transporter?) literally next to us! My second friend comes running back thought cherno, and he finds one as well! In the middle of cherno. We cant believe are luck! So we loot what we can and set off running our little fleet of trucks. We were doing well, missed an encouter with a helicopter, stocking up supplies and repair kits. Everything time we got out of the trucks to loot somewhere/thing/one we would save the vehicles. We even saw a few bikes and a car but left them for others Further north we find a helicopter crash site. then all of a sudden. "Session Lost"! Annoying but nevermind, log back in 2 minutes later when the server comes back online, but the vehicles were gone :-(. I traced our steps back all the way to cherno and then to where they supposedly spawn. but nothing.. Same thing happened when later that evening, on a different server we got ambushed in a barn as we were being a bit stupid and firing at zombies alot, a bus turned up with 3 guys, killed 2, 1 ran for the hills. Saw the bus, started moving, "Connection lost to the server" Log back on.. No Bus or Bodies... Question Time: Is there anyway to keep a vehicle in a place when the server restarts / disconnects? What does saving a vehicle actually do? Do some servers have more vehicles than others (We've been on some and found a good few v.quickly, been on others and found nothing) Any other advice on vehilce related matters? I want to make it clear, We don't want to hoard all the vehicles, but 1 would be nice to keep constant and help us on our travels, I understand that if its stolen then fair game, but in our expirence they just keep disappearing! :-( Thank you in advance for anyone that reads this! But all in all the 3 hours we had the 3 trucks was some of the best fun i've had in DayZ so far!

Server this happened on: US 603 Time that it happened including your timezone: Near 19:35-40 GMT -3 What happened during the incident: At 19:35 GMT -3, somewhere in stary there was a bus, a car and a bike. All of those vehicles where teleported to somewhere in Wilderness. My friend said that something like 10 vehicles spawned with him in a field with no trees and... So, yeah, cheater i guess? _____ No proof about it.

I had a thought at work today. The vehicles are bland. Why not spice them up and make each one recognizable with a name or title. Here was my thought Helo- “China Beach” It has no side guns but added inventory space. It has more armor and a larger gas tank. Helo- “Power Struggle” It has 2 60 Cals on its sides and its faster than China Beach. However it has less armor and less inventory slots Bus- “Dead Reckoning” A homage to George A Ramero. More armor, larger gas tank more inventory, mush slower. Truck- “Schools Out” Short Bus with less inventory, holds less players but moves faster than Dead Reckoning Car- “Mad Max” it’s the mad max car. Fast, less inventory, holds only 2 people large gas tank Car- “Clown” Holds 5 people larger inventory more gas, moves slower Motorcycle- “Hells Angel” Harley, Louder, same speed, bigger gas tank, holds more inventory Anyone else with ideas?

I own us 1999 I was tracking user behaviour and according to Dayz Radar(Admin Tool) there's no vehicles at all on my server is that possible?

I did a little research and found out that the server owner of US 405 changed name... Buddies and I took out a vehicle to the point of explosion/burning. My question is that once this happens, can a vehicle be repaired into driveable condition? For reference, it's the GAZ (grey). It allowed me to attach wheels, engine parts, and fuel tank parts just fine. According to the Wiki, it takes 1 scrap metal which I used on it and nothing about the appearance of the body changed. I also do not have the option to enter the vehicle. I can save it, however. Is this a fruitless endeavor or are we not doing something right? Could someone clarify this? Thanks in advance.

Hello, 2 days ago, administration dayz gave me a server. I cant find any vehicles on my server! I did restart, many times, i search on spawn point, etc. and did not find anything, why? its a bug or what?

Ideas (sorry if it's messy but I wrote this to my friend on Steam.) (i'm also sorry because my friend was asking what type of game i'd make - so it looks like less of a suggestion) it should get harder when you start going out into the wilderness until you go about 30 miles and get to this safe house and there's loads of good weapons and tanks and stuff but you can't stay there or they're deploy the military or something. Single Player is free build survival meaning that you build your base and never-ending swarms of zombie come - waves of zombies like left 4 dead. You can build your own house to keep the zombies away. What I mean by building is like the barricade builder mod in left for dead. But you have to find the parts like discarded iron and wood and the zombies can still break it and if the house is good then other players are going to want to have it so the people who made it would have a bounty on them. So i am curious as of latest patch do we need a toolbox to repair vehicles or just certain ones? Also when i worked on a atv I noticed that unless i had scrap metal or a tire on me the atv did not even show up as repairable...is that how it works for all vehicles because i thought on cars etc you could get in them and you would get a breakdown in uypper left of HUD showing what needed repair? And as of yet even using the day z map at http://dayzdb.com/map I can never find any vehicles that are repairable so I assume unless i have a tire or a toolbox on me they wont even show up as repairable? or am I just htat unlucky there are never any to find

My question is, to interact with vehicles do you have to have something for the vehicle in inventory? Seen 2 now and couldnt...

OK. So how is it i can never find vehicles. Lets say I had my own server, me and a few mates found a van at a petrol station - a listed spawn point. We then lost said van after driving it into a pond and witnessing it suddenly vanish. Reset the server a few times and the car isnt at its spawn point again. Same goes for other vehicles. We found the truck at the quarry. That got stolen fair and square but after a server reset, its not at its spawn point again. Is there a way of wiping the server completely clean so to speak so that everything is restored? Tents and all.?

Hey all, vehicles and tents that outside of the map (where no grass is) get destroyed? or there still saved? Cause after Server Restart i was in Debug Forrest, relog and joined on the beach, beside me there was all cars/heli that we missing and never found on map, so is it possible that this cars standing outside the map? We still have to restart the server cause of a tent bug, after this all vehicles still gone :(

so i was driving in a truck i found looking for a good place to hide it and the server shutdown when i retured i got the hourglass and my truck was nowhere to be found question is when the server restarts will it go back to where it was saved last or will it now respawn at one of its spawn locations? anyone run into this

I have just found 5 helicopters spawned in on the same hill on our server. Obviously there is a guy hacking. How do I find out who this is? How do I get rid of these helicopters as grenades dont seem to work? I obviously dont want cheaters on our server so how can I stop this? Ok so me and my friend have had camps go unnoticed for weeks and then the second we have got a vehicle, suddenly it's stolen within hours. Are there some hacks going around that show vehicle locations? Cause it seems extremely suspicious to me that our camps go unnoticed for weeks and then the second we get a vehicle and hide it near our camp, suddenly it's found. Normally I'd say someone saw us going back there and followed us or tracked us, but we searched for and found the vehicles in the early morning/late night with only a few people on the server, and by few I mean me and my friend and 1-2 other people. It just seems like too much of a coincidence to be legit. It's happened numerous times on 2-3 different servers. We had an ATV stolen that was literally inside 3 pine trees together, from a camp that had been there for 2-3 weeks, unfound. Then a motorcycle stolen from a month old camp that was inside a bush, so much so that I couldn't see it even when I knew it was there. This only happens when we have gas powered vehicles. We have had two bikes for over a month, and they have never been stolen, even though they were at the same camps as the atv and motorcycle. It just seems really bizarre to me that our vehicles are found so quickly whereas our camps are untouched for so long. Anyone else having this problem?

Greetings! Recently created a server. But we've discovered, that there's no vehicle spawn (at all). How to solve this issue? Ty beforehand.

I've played this game for 3-4weeks now I'm fully geared atm but I've never found a vehicle of such during the time playing dayz. Where are some good spots to find them? I'm in Elektro, any vehicles around there?
