Seananners using hacked in weapons and vehicles

Well known YouTuber Seananners knowingly takes and uses spawned in hacked weapons and vehicles (eg chopper) in his recent DayZ video: -
The other day, a friend and I took hours to fix up a UAZ, then stumbled across a motorbike and a bicycle in the exact same area. We were hyped as hell, but when the automatic restart rolled around our vehicles were completely gone. Running back to where we found the bike, it was there! So we rode back to the UAZ spawn and that was there too, completely wiped in need of FULL repairs. We save our bicycle and restart just to see what would happen to it, and BAM it turns in to a (fully repaired and fueled) motorbike. One more annoyed restart and the vehicle is gone completely. I locked the server this morning to test it, and every time I move and save the bike it's back at it's spawn point on restart. Sometimes the bike is back at the spawn point and a motorbike is where the bicycle should have been. Any one have any idea what is going on? -
At this moment in the game, I'm finding vehicles useless. I've been playing for three weeks and haven't came across ONE vehicle. I use the DayZ DB map so I know where the vehicles spawn. And if I'm ever in the area, I check. I hate walking all over the map. I've made multiple trips from the coast North to Stary Sobor so many times on foot and back its ridiculous. Just give me a bicycle, motorcycle, ATV. Something. If clans are just going to horde all the vehicles when the server is made, or hackers hide the vehicles, I find them useless. Its like a part of the game I'm not getting to experience. I've made it my mission just to vehicle hunt every life from now on.

Hello fellow survivors, Since I started playing this mod (about one month I guess), I had three vehicles. I lost every single one of them during server restarts. So my question is... what happens to my vehicles? For example I had a pickup truck once. The server was about to restart in 10 minutes, so I parked the truck next to my camp and saved the vehicle. After the server restart it was gone. Same happened to my bike several minutes ago. Did the vehicles just despawned and are completely gone now? Or were they reset to a previous savepoint? Would it make sense to retrace my route to find it back?

Anyone else losing their tents/vehicles after update?

So I get a new cache setup last night on my favorite server, getting ready to move to central Chernarus to help folks, everything's going as planned. This morning, double check everything. Looks good. Get off of my ATV to go find a few more supplies and the server goes down for the update. Finally able to log back in and my ATV that I had hidden is MIA. I figure that sucks, maybe someone found it, but not the end of the world. I hike it back to my tent to also find it and my associates truck missing. They aren't out in the open and there was pretty much no one on a stable connection, everyone was getting kicked who joined due to a high ping. I've been lead to the conclusion it's due to the servers updating... So, it may be too late but if you can make it back to your tents, vehicles, etc before they disappear, grab all of your important gear! It could be gone very soon and you could be like me, a doctor without any supplies. -
Do cars even get saved atm? I play every night a few hours and mostly every time on a differnt server. I fixed a few cars every night. in the last seven days and they are always gone after a server restart or are back to the spawn point. I mean im ok with the cars not saving stuff inside atm but they always vanishing?

Yesterday me and my friends found a car and a bus. We filled em up with items and weapons and went out on a ride. when we were about to log out we hid the vehicles in the forest. We also put up a tent and filled that with the most valuable shit. When I logged on today the vehicles had despawned but the tent was there and all items in it was was still in it. So Im just wondering why our vehicles would despawn? Because Im 110% sure that we saved them before we logged out. As no items was stolen from the tent Im sure that the camp had not been found and the vehicles had been removed that way. Is it possible for the vehicles to just randomly despawn? I thought that it only did that when it was unused for 7 days or if it was not saved upon logout.

They are fun. They give you a goal - Attaining and maintaining. Making facory runs etc. They encourage team work - four seats? May as well use them. There would be FAAAAAAAAR more. This wasn't a traditional war and civi vehicles should be mostly intact. It's not overpowering. Driving a vehicle around holds many risks - blowing up, shot by as50 and all four occupants ejected and killed. (it happend) They are fun.

Does anyone know of some servers [preferrably US ones] that are somewhat new and/or do not have all of the vehicles hoarded by clans and such? Thanks in advance.

Our server seems unable to save gear in vehicles. It saves the location and the condition of the vehicles but nothing inside of them. Tents seem to be ok. Anyone got a solution for this?

Hello, I have been playing Dayz for about 3 months now. I have found 3 vehicles in my first 2 months, but that was when I was a noob and lost them almost instantly. I havent found any vehicles lately and I really want I have been to almost every vehicle spawn in the map with no luck. Does anyone have any tips for finding them? Or would like to give me one (Very unlikely) Thanks.

so we have a new server for about a week now and no vehicles spawn. and i really watched it... what is the problem?

I know its not very zombie Apocalypse, but it would be pretty bad ass driving you squad around. Arma 2 SUV Or maybe even this ;)

What is the status of duping and empty respawns with tents after server restarts, and does this also happen with vehicles?

We have now three servers. Two on HostAltitude and now one on gamed!de and on the new one there are no vehicles. We restarted the server several times but no vehicles are spawning. Our Instance ID is over 6000. Is the problem related to that ID over 6000? Or do we have to wait for the vehicles to spawn? On our other servers the vehicles were spawned just right after the first start.

Hey, we have a New Srv ( DE 1610 ) and no Vehicles spawn on the map! all spawns are empty. this srv is 2 days old. Can anyone help us? The support from gameserver hoster says that he will spawns witin 48h ... but 48h are over. Best regards coconuT

Hi I recently rented a DayZ server from Multiplay. I know theyre new at DayZ but still. Anyways I have just got the server up and running but since I live in the UK it is set to UK time. I would like to change this so I get at least a few more hours of daytime to play in after I get home from work. I cannot see any way to do this in the server.cfg. Also since it is a brand new server the vehicles should have spawned upon startup? But none have been found so far. How do I configure these? SOrry if these have been answered before but I did spend time searching the forums before I posted. Thanks for your help! James Another thing I have noticed is there are no loot spawns (searched cherno), and the zombie count is very low. Thanks again :)

I was wondering why we have no vehicles on our new server, although we have vehicles on our other two servers. I got an official statemant from the dayz staff and also from my hoster: Jonathan Dalton Hi, It can take up to 7 days for vehicles to spawn. Me And do they only spawn after a server restart or do they appear while the server is running? Usually the vehicles should spawn within 2-7 days, because those things come from the DayZ Hive I will make an update as soon as I can confirm our vehicles are spawned. Greets -
I'm not really upset, I know this is a bug and I read somewhere that if your instance ID on your server is over 6000 (mine is in the 7000's) vehicles don't spawn in, which doesn't make much sense since we have had vehicles for quite a while now, but after the last restart they disapeared... Everything... Will spam restarting the server get them back? Or is it just a matter of playing the waiting game? The world may never know...

I always thought it would be cool to rule the water in day z and even cooler if there was amphibious vehicles that could hold your group and go in and out of water. And also it may be a little op but i have seen destroyed tanks around the map and i think it would be cool to add those

Finite number of vehicles in server?

Are there are a finite number of vehicles on a server? I'm with a private server, so we know how many there are; 7. We have a bus, traktor, GAZ, V3S, Pickup truck and 2 S1203's. But now for a few days, after multiple server restarts, we haven't found one vehicle. No single car, heli, watercraft, whatever. Thanks for the info. -
Controllable searchlights for Helicopters and other Vehicles.

Simply put, controllable searchlights on helicopters and cars would be amazing, i mean NVG's will do the same thing for the guy in the vehicle, but the fear factor is not even close to the same. if someone lit me up from the sky id be very very scared.. and imagine a car driving along at night, scanning the forest with a searchlight.. it just adds to an already very tense situation. -
Admins restarting server to save Clan/Camps/Vehicles US 660

Proof being constant restarts and showing server downtime over and over. They come in get attacked and restart the server. Members are: RazorBack,Revenge,(TAB)Aaron,WhiteNeko,HeadshotHank,EasyPete. Hi I have been playing on the same server for 30 hours straight now and haven't found any vehicle, i found 2 atvs last week but they either flipped or glitched into the floor and killed me so i would also like to see that get fixed cause it took me some time to fix them and then to see that i will loose them or they will kill me. I would like to see at 50+ vehicles in the server and 2-3 in small towns and 3-5 in big ones. And helicopters, please put atleast 5 in the server so there is some action, im getting pretty bored in the servers, only action is when hackers join and mess every thing up. Logan. EDIT*** But there should atleast be 10-20 more vehicles than there is know and i also have problems with the boats that spawn on the coast and take quote a while to get out and then once you get out you notice that the fishing boat only goes 12mph and you could of ran there already? but this is my opinion. :\
