An individual known as "Gamer" began hacking at approximately 3:00 pm CST, teleporting from one end of the map to the other, using unlimited ammo for his m16, and immediately respawning at point of death (Balota Airfield) fully geared after being killed. I could confirm he was teleporting as, while I drove the jeep from the backside of Cherno, he appeared in front of me nearly halfway to Balota. Given that I was going approximately 70 km/h half the way, it's physically impossible that he could outpace the jeep on foot (he had no vehicles). I have witnesses who can confirm this, including the server mod, Eman. Please contact me via PM if there is any more information needed.

Sounds like someone stole your chopper... The Hive for DayZ spawns the chopper if you are on public hive. Get a package server from ViLayer... you can have 3 choppers. and a ton of vehicles.

Age : 18 Dayz/Fps Experience : 2 months with dayz, started playing fps since i was 12. I have enough experience that I now where to go and what to do in certain situations in other to gain the upper hand. Im pretty familiar with all the guns and I know how to control recoil as well as how to use a sniper riffle properly. Why do you want to join? : I want to join because it is hard to play this game and gather gear or find vehicles while you are playing solo. I also like the idea of playing tactically and with a group of people that got my back. It is also a lot easier to gather vehicles and gear since everyone would be working as a team. Hi all, Just a forewarning, the guy with the name in the title is a script kid hacker. Noticed he joined our private hive server for a few minutes, and teleported himself and my chopper to the airfield and proceeded to fly around. Though he'll probably change his name, keep an eye out. Thanks JkF

untill a another hacker (a different one or the same one on a new key) spawns even more weapons to players on the server once ur done cleaning. new players will just roll with it since they wont know whats going on and others will take advantage and horde all the legit weapons to tents/camps/vehicles and save for another day. sooo the point of all this is that 1 hacker gave everyone free non legit weapons, or in some cases vehicles.(not to be confused with illegal weapons). those players receive weapons/vehicles in a unlegit manor but everyone in the server is obviously not a hacker. 1 player caused all that damage and u cant really do much of anything to the hundreds of other legit players that got free unlegit but legal weapons. it may be easy to clean up everyone that kept the illegal weapons, but u cant punish the ppl who kept the legal weapons. at that point the game is ruined because everyone has high end gear. does it suck? ya it sure does, but it would be bad taste to punish all of those ppl because it was not there fault where as some server admins just go on a mass ban spree. i am saying this because i have played on servers like that and i have witnessed admins just giving a fuck u ban to whoever. even if u got weapons legit by camping NWAF they will assume u got it by hacking. THIS is the abuse of admin powers i am talking about.

Play on Lingor and look for the massive wooden jumps. Get all sorts of vehicles and see how much air you can get. Thats actually on my bucket list. It looks awesome.

I'm a player that never shoots first. I only shoot in self defense. I've only ever killed one person in all of DayZ. I either run away and hide, or die. My main goal In DayZ has been to explore and experience what this unique game has to offer. When I first started out, that meant getting nice gear and surviving: Blood bags, a sniper rifle, a coyote backpack, a ghillie suit, and Night Vision Goggles. But now, I have all those things. And I know how to survive for a long time. And it started to get boring. So my goal was to explore. I went to the mountain that shall not be named, the NW airfield, Cherno, Elektro, Stary Sobor. I looted and survived all of them. And while there are places that I haven't been yet, the novelty of looting through dangerous territory while not killing on sight and avoiding bandits is wearing thin. Even playing through Lingor an Takistan hasn't brought back the thrill of exploration (mainly because Lingor was full of graphical artifacts when I played. What's the point of having great gear and knowing how to survive if the life you lead is without purpose or adventure? How can we live meaningful lives if we have nothing worth striving and dying for? I really want to avoid the "end-game murder" syndrome, where once you have all you need, you start hunting people for sport. And I really want to have some of those amazing, iconic stories that we were all lured in here by (teaming with randoms, helping the helpless, being helped, watching people make interesting and crazy decisions when given freedom, examining the motives that drive different players, etc.). Most of all, I want stories to tell. So I'm trying to write a bucket list: A list of goals and things I want to do so DayZ has a compelling purpose again, quest ideas that will give me great stories to tell. My ideas are listed below. Please help me add to it by adding interesting suggestions. Bucket List: [uPDATED 9/25/12 ] 1. Fix up a helicopter and go searching for downed helicopters. 2. Find the highest mountain and bike down it. (This would be even cooler with a huge group of people on bicycles, all ringing their little bicycle bells). 3. Sing karaoke in Cherno / Elektro churches without dying. 4. Successfully hunt down a bandit that's killing innocents or fresh spawns. (Maybe better reworded as "Successfully hunt down player killers") 5. Get a Hero Skin. 6. Kill a hacker and live. 7. Start giving really nice weapons or gifts to fresh spawns, but intimidate them into not killing you once you try to run away. 8. Fix up cars and pick up strangers. 9. Be an impromptu medic to someone, then get to know them and become friends. 10. Play on Lingor and look for the massive wooden jumps. Get all sorts of vehicles and see how much air you can get. Once everyone has had a turn to play something over the chat, then cycle through and essentially just listen to fun music in a group out loud. Bohemia changed the steering system in land vehicles in the last patch. totally f'd it up, not very popular with the Arma 2 crowd.

Same problem here, 7 days no chopper, seen +10 other vehicles tho.

hi mates I've already talk with support and they told me they don't have control over vehicles so, how long does it take to a spawn a chopper?

Get a scuba set up and go looking for them off the coast, that is probably where scripters left all the vehicles.

Hello everyone. I am a 21+ year old player that somewhat recently lost his playing partners. I am an experienced hero character that has only killed in self defense I am well kitted at the moment and I have experience with some of the vehicles in this mod. I am looking to group up with whoever wants to play new or experienced. I got bored of this game a bit ago and now would like to start playing again with some new players. If you are young and annoying it might not work out but I am willing to try. I am willing to use which ever voice communication program you like. I will provide my skype name in pm only.

Like the title says. We have a fairly new server up and running. We wanted to put out an invite to any and all Clans, lone wolves, and players that want to do some RP inside Dayz. We have our own private hive Chernarus that we just got up and running, so everything is fresh. We play with max 30 vehicles which includes 3 HELICOPTERS and a plethora of other really nice trucks and cars. To be honest we have fixed up a couple vehicles that we plan to use such as a UAZ , Skoda, and Heli. But the rest of the 27 vehicles are up for grabs including two more helicopters. The server is password protected so we plan to keep a very strict roster of players who are allowed to be on the server and will issue immediate kick/bans to those who are not registered to ensure a smooth gaming experience for all. We are currently looking for a few clans with a member count of around 5 players each so that we can set up some friendly competition between the clans. Also we would like to invite mature players that would like to experience Dayz in a role playing setting. For instance, our admin who is very active plans to do "emergency alerts" for crash sites and give approximate locations for them over global chat. We also are planning on setting up a trading post inside the city where we will always be regularly trading valuable items you need to survive the wasteland. We plan on taking requests from players and even issuing requests for items that will be rewarded appropriately. There has been ideas of setting up a colloseum for hatchet fights, win so many matches without dieing and own a nice prize. These are just some ideas we are playing around with. If you are part of a Clan, please notify the clan leader and have them contact us for all the details, then he can distribute to your clan. This will make it easier and there will be no confusion. We are on Skype, and post Information all the time, so you will have your own spot to communicate between clans. The server runs on Veteran with crosshairs, 3rd person, and death messages. There will be a slight process in order to obtain the Password. So please just tell us alittle about yourself and why you feel you should play on this server. We have owned 2 public servers, and have been hacked multiple times by script kiddies. This is the reason for an interview to play here. We're hoping that if you have taken your time to read this, your not one of them. Pretty sure Cherno has about 50 vehicles that can spawn on the map at one time..Also according to Dayzdb the atv can spawn up to 15 times.

Vehicles go to their last saved spots.. Or if its bugged out, somewhere else on the map. The server refreshes itself, new loot spawns, heli crashes, makes it load faster etc.. Usually takes a couple minutes for it to be back up.

i teamed up with 2 guys who decided to backstab me but i ended up killing them anyway, we had a blue car and plenty of stuff after looting several places. i take their stuff and put it all in the car and just when im done and about to get food to heal, i lose connection i think because of server restart. i want to know what happens when server restarts, how much time its offline and how do i rejoin the same server. plus id like to know what happens to vehicles after a server restart. thanks

I didnt really like it, but thats just me. I personally favor Lingor as the best of the 3 because of all the buildings. Lots of fire fights in buildings, running around dodging zombies, and it makes things very interesting when raiding a location because unfriendly's slip in and out with ease so you are always on your toes. I also prefer the additional vehicles. Makes our clan less worried about losing them and the ration of players with vehicles makes things much more fun. Again my opinion, Takistan just isnt for me.
