Or your're creeping through a town, your'e only just able to see the silhouettes of the buildings. As you begin to approach the corner you look up to see two glowing red eyes shambling around it. This would make me play when it's dark, would be awesome :D

And the Light succumbed to Darkness... :P

Could'nt it be made so that if someone wounds you for the next 5 minutes (or other amount of time) if you kill them it counts as self defense and not murder?

I don't know why I read these posts, just keeps reminding me that I can never find crash sites :(

Not sure if this has been suggested by anyone else or not but I thought it would be cool if you could mark different points on your in-game map. What I mean is marking a good area where you found some loot or even your base. But the thing I thought would be awesome is if you kill someone you could pick up their map or study it like you can with bodies and see where they have left different marks. A pencil or pen or something like that might have to implemented into the game so you could mark areas. Also, if you're close to death and you have matches you could burn it so nobody could discover your base.

A friend was telling me about this today, seems pretty stupid that where you wan't to go becomes public knowledge, someone close by or there could wait for you and kill you.

Really? I did'nt know that. Is it in the way I've said that others can see the markers you've made if they take your map?

Same here, those 1 metre falls are more dangerous then other players

I just spawned back in where i logged out with all the gear i had before

I've had the same thing happen, if you played on an official server then changed to a one that isn't you get a new character. But I found out if you go back to your first server or another official one you will get your original character back.

I've had a couple of situations where I ran into someone and I turned my gun away to try and show I'm not going to shoot them. From those times though I've had people flat out just shoot me, one person pulled out an axe when I turned around or people will say "Friendly" then 10 seconds later I'm full of holes. I don't think I've been in that situation and NOT had anyone kill me :(

Not sure if this idea has been said or not but me and and a friend thought it would be cool if you could mark points on your map. this could work two ways, you'll always know on your map where a point of interest for you is but if you get killed then someone could research or take your map and find what you have marked.
