  1. As insulting as this comment is, I'll remain steadfast with my recourse of how the events took place. As an arma 2 player and not just a dayz player, I have played arma for years, I know what AI looks like on arma, it is very obvious for more reasons than I'm willing to list here. (anyone who has played a lot of arma will know how peculiar the AI is). A. I'm not talking about the "p" screen, I'm talking about the actual server in the listings (dayz commander/ingame server browser) aswell as the "p" screen. B. My friend in this situation is not hacking, he is a close personal friend, and as his friend he won't mind me saying that he wouldn't have the first clue about hacking, nor would he choose to. If I thought he was hacking I would personally dismember him with a rubber chicken as it is the lamest thing to do in any game. C. Point B is irrelevant because it was AI. I welcome anyone's ideas or guesses to this bug(?) or whatnot, but its not like I don't know what I'm seeing. (although I do see a lot of that going on in these forums, so I can sympathize)
  2. It wasn't just a blank player list, the server had only 2 players in it in the server listings. Also it was not human, it was AI. Now I'm not saying that there isn't hacks for such things, there probably is, but this was not the case here.
  3. This seems the most likely reasoning, but considering you say they have been around for months, I would've thought there would have been more posts about them, especially ones wearing ghillie suits as they're quite spooky when they appear out of the bushes. I did a quick search for anything similar and nothing turned up.
  4. well, he was most definitely not a player, there was no death message and I received no bandit/murder/zombie kill count for killing it. also he did act just like arma's regular AI (pretty stupid). I mean who sits in a uaz with the lights on in the middle of a field.
  5. This guy was just in a ghillie with no weapons, but the weirdest part was that its AI allowed it to backpedal, something zombies dont do. Obviously seeing a guy in a ghillie suit backpedal, we immediately assumed it was a player :/ Maybe his nefarious plan was to slowly drain our uaz's batteries by leaving the lights on all night.
  6. I was the driver of the uaz in this story... I have not seen any zombies in ghillie suits that can drive in all my time on the mod.... can anyone clear some of this up for us? *applies new pair of pants*
