Remove names of rifles in inventory?

Sounds like a good concept, as not everyone knows what weapons take what ammunition. so i think it'd quite cool, although as someone above said, many weapons have its name on it and calibre somewhere on the weapon.

A Dog is NOT just for Apocalypse.

But the crashsite could be a "survivor" crashsite, so he had recently crashed the truck and ran and obviously got killed, leaving his dog behind, so the dog has only been there for a matter of hours when you find him. but if left to long yes, you find a dog corpse instead.

The crashsite where we found the dog, because the owner of the dog died....and therefore left his Animal and belongings behind, so no it isnt really bullshit, its more it gives you the essentials for the dog when you find him. read it properly, =]

Hi Guys, im new to the forums, but ive been following the DayZ community for a while, and have been reading through the future content what Rocket wants to add into the game, and it got me thinking when he mentioned dogs, Of all other games i can think of that involve dogs have very badly implemented them, and i really think they would be a very valuable asset in the DayZ world. First off, i dont think everyone should have one, that would defeat the object of the game of starting alone with nothing, I think that they should be randomly spawned, only a few per server and should be found in a crashed truck tied to it or something, it will be hostile to you unless of course you approach it slowly, and of course present it with food, of course being either raw or cooked meat. from here you can cut the leash and take him with you, BUT this is what ive been thinking, instead of just having them follow you , they require food and water, which need to be put in his bowl which you find also at the crash site, this means that you have to sacrifice inventory space for owning this creature and also use valuable water on the dog aswell as it only eating meat from animals as apposed to the tinned variety. They will have their own food and water meter along side our own, but tis is my favourate bit, they also have a loyalty meter, much like us humans have the morality. this works ina sence that if you trust the dogs growl and move away then you get an increase in loyalty, keep him well fed and well watered and he will be much more reliable than if you hardly feed him. Another idea i think would be good is if they acted as an early warning device, growling when within a certain distance to a player who is running, but cannot detect proned players as this would be a completely unfair advantage. If you have anything you think should be done differently, please say as i like to hear peoples ideas. Cheers guys, Rob
