I see that there's a female bandit skin, but how about the "hero" skin?

Admin kills everyone on US74
radioghost replied to VikingBerserker's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I am. I'm calling him an idiot. -
No. Carebears need to learn to leave the coast (and the bean wars) behind and strike out north. This incentivizes that.

Barbed Wire Getting Annoying
radioghost replied to Bruce (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Barbed wire serves no legitimate purpose in the game. Why not remove it? -
Because I can.

Learn to read, buddy. Nowhere did I say I shot unarmed survivors, nor do I liken it to a real world scenario. Besides, this is a game. Death is not final, the psychological ramifications of murder are totally different.
-
I enjoy all these tears. The key to survival is adaptation. If everyone shoots on sight, you need to as well. Cry about it all you want, but it won't change anything. If you want to survive, you have to adapt. If you can't handle exchanging fire with strangers, maybe you should hand in your man card and go play Hello Kitty Adventure Island. I roll around with a group of friends and we work together. Instead of expecting total strangers to not shoot you, why don't you go make some friends?

It's a sandbox. It's not MEANT to be played any particular way
-
My group shoots people for sport. We seldom come across survivors who have gear as good as ours. We've already bested what the mod has to offer and now we've chosen to hunt people instead. Brutal and unfair? Yes. Psychopathic? No, it's a game. Go outside.
-
You're all mistaken about vehicles. You just have to know how to look. My friends and I have repaired and driven over 10 vehicles in the past 2 weeks on several different servers.

Was fine last night, and it's been down all morning. Did it change names? Down for maintenance?

Thanks Clinton, can you give your timezone for our reference?

This is the best PVP game ever created
radioghost replied to disastr's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I laugh when I see people say that Day-Z "isn't player vs. player." It's a sandbox game. It's whatever the fuck I want it to be. -
Frequently hotfixes making the game unplayable.
radioghost replied to FFrank's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Are you kidding me? This software is in ALPHA, which means the more hotfixes, the more bugtesting, the faster we move towards a finished product. You think that the entire game development should be held up so you can play an unfinished product? Spoiled. Brat. -
It's my understanding that helicopter crash sites spawn at server startup. Is the placement of a crash site truly random, or are there are a number of predetermined locations, among which the server picks a few?

Helicopter crash sites -- what do?

no Side chat = Community Growth will be damaged
radioghost replied to daish's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
"Who's shooting in cherno?" Oh yeah, the community has been irreversibly damaged. -
Troll gamedev of the year award goes to rocket!
radioghost replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
The idiocy of this community is completely overwhelming. Rocket owes you nothing. This is an ALPHA. When you program bugfixes, it's not uncommon to create more bugs. If all programming was perfect, we'd have no need for alphas and betas. Did I mention Day-Z is in ALPHA? -
Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)
radioghost replied to rocket's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
Rocket--perhaps, combine the zombie aggro characteristics from 1.7 with the the "line of sight" mechanics of this patch. -
Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)
radioghost replied to rocket's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
Perhaps I spoke too soon... visited the NW airfield and aggro'd nearly every zombie there by crouch-WALKING in the station house tower. Zombie aggro definitely needs attention. -
Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)
radioghost replied to rocket's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
Ignore the crybaby carebears. Zombie AI seems to be working extremely well--the best I've seen yet. -
Will the hatchet attack be a true melee attack or a "proximity" attack, like the one employed by the zombies?
