Hey guys, Recently I've been getting quite bored playing by myself and I think it's time that I found a group of people to join. I'm looking for a group or people or to make a group of people to play with in the normal and newer dayz maps. I personally use skype, my name is dx_avie_xb. I also have a ural filled with multiples of stuff that I'm willing to share with the group I join or make on a 1.7.2.5 server to make a camp on a .6 server. Ok, that was a weird experience. Myself and a friend are at cherno ridding the city of bandits with high powered weapons when suddenly my mate loses control of his character. Not knowing what to do, he logs and relogs back in. While logging back in he takes a two min break and I can clearly see hes not there. Then suddenly a player with the exact same stuff comes up to me saying through the direct chat "Hey, Hi, How are you" over and over again. I tell him to walk away and he does. I follow him and shoot him in the back and begin to loot him. He has the exact same items as my mate. I instantly log next to the body and we relog to a new server. I spawn first and see him spawn in the spot I shot the player. Was he being controlled despite in the process of logging back into the server? Your thoughts guys?

You might as well go onto skalisty iskland and server hop mate, cos since there is only 1 chopper per server and clans/ large groups fight for dominance over it, your best hope is just to try find one. Preferably on a quiet server if you wish to keep it for a while.

Not when you use a sd weapon. My weapon is a sd so only stanag sd will work in it.

SVD Camo and m4a1 holo. The amount of faggots in cherno and electro I have sniped and blown up that take advantage of the newbies is insane.

It can, some don't for some reason. I know a tent that keeps duplicating high level weapons.

Ghillie's spawn in residential as well as crashed heli's. Since cherno has the highest number of resturants, i'd say cherno is the best place to find one but theres also the aspect of other players, and graphical gliches.

I'd say hacker, he took several shots to the head, which should of at least incapacitated him. But then the fact that he shot and hit u before he was completely turned tells me he was also lagging.

I agree with terrex, although the bizon is silent, it's damage is pathetic compared to the ACOG, plus if you see someone far away, you have the x4 scope of the acog to help you

Ok then specterm, then explain why the loot in my bus that i placed in 2 days ago is still there? Tents do not work, I have added stuff to a virgin tent, and after a server restart it had all disappeared. I lost 3 as50's, 2 l85's, a m4a1 cco sd and a lode of other stuff cos of that tent. But my bus still has what I put in it.

It is a hacked in weapon mate, but due to a statement that rocket has made, you are allowed to use it and won't be globally banned for using it since you didn't script it in. However, server admins may kick/ban you from their server.

At the moment, tents won't save the loot inside the tent. What tents do is every time the server resets it deletes all the items added since the latest patch. If loot was inside the tent before the patch, the loot will continue to respawn at server restart. Vehicles however do save your items. I have a bus I've put a few things in about 2 days ago and it's all still there. So at the moment, vehicles are the safest way to store your equipment, but ofc remember, someone steals ur vehicle, not only you lost the vehicle but your stuff also.

I see where you come from intensity, but that doesn't justify the act of banning one person for taking a measly car? They may not be the easiest thing to find, but they are sure in hell that there are a lot in the map. When you find that car and take it to your base, it's your decision to do so. Should someone find it, then its your fault for not hiding it well enough or just generally unlucky.

That's the thing, these types of admins don't really care about others or the server. What they care about is themselves. A decent admin wouldn't rage and kick/ban people for looting their camp, that's just how the game goes. Non-admins loot each others camps all the time. People that kick/ban for looting tents or taking vehicles are just little kids who get mad when someone takes the most smallest of things from them.

The exact same thing happened to me twice on lu303. First time I was ambush but survived, and as i go to take my spoils of the war, which consisted of two bodies, 8 tents, a bus, a off road pickup truck and a motorcycle, I was kicked and the server was crashed. 2nd time, i go back 4 days later steal the motorbike and once again, kicked and server crashed. It's pathetic how these admins abuse their powers just to benefit themselves. They prob only become one to do this and not deal with the real issues, the hackers.

Hey guys, I've just barely killed a player with this gun, the KSVK. It's a heavy caliber sniper just like the as50 and m107 except longer range. Now I know since it's not spawned legit then it's not safe to use it, but recently Rocket said that anything we find, as long as we don't spawn it, we can use. Seeing as this is my favorite sniper in arma 2, I would love to use it, but fear the threat of being banned perm in the case that they believe I spawned it. What's your thoughts guys?

Oh well, he did have all the other stuff such as range finders, nvg's, and ghillie on him. my friend will be happy xD

Oh no wonder he had that gun, guess what I just found 100m away from where i killed him, a spawned crate with x 200 of everything....

I would take a screenshot, but I can't get onto the server via steam, only six launcher. And thanks for the comments, i'll go back to using my svd camo and as50 then xD
