Actors walk and sound like zombies. Are they zombies?

Zombies see to damn far, and with x-ray vision. Was crouching down, sneaking into a house. When I see zombies a block away come rushing towards me, around corners and from behind walls. Was not a one time bug. Later went up north and as I was approaching a house crouched, sneaking slowly towards it, zombies around 75m away seemed to notice me. And again a group of them came to greet me. Not just the one with eagle eye vision, but his buddies from behind another building. Conclusion: Zombies see to damn far. Reduced to what it was before. Only change it after you have the ray tracing los without any bugs. Eagle eye sight and x-ray vision is no fun. Don't think anyone cares, but I won't play again until this los issue is fixed.

It would be possible to limit spawn to the north western corner. Since it's thick woods there people would not be as prone to being seen and shot as the coast. If spawns have to be at the coast maybe when bohemia gets involved with dayz they could add another city to the east or north of the nw airfield as large as cherno and electro combined. That would be very interesting. And maybe a river delta, would also be an interesting mechanic. Since you can risk swimming it and loose all loot, or cross a bridge that could be guarded. And a river would be a great landmark to navigate against.

Hello. What do you think about reversing spawns from being on the coast, to the northern and western borders of the map? (not as far as to the coast) The coast has the largest cities and the most interesting map elements. That's something you would strive to reach to get nice amounts of loot and also the most interesting places for firefights. As it stands the coastline is what you run from, and the fights there tend to be makarov dueling and russian bandits coming down with military gear to shoot easy targets. If the spawn was reversed you would not get as much early game camping and pvp since there are many smaller villages to loot on the way to the coast. This would result in more geared conflicts around the larger cities where I suggest large cashes of military gar could be found around truck wrecks and barricades. It makes sense that the largest part of the army would die in and around the capital cities, as a zombie outbreak would be sudden with exponential growth of zombies. That survivors in the hundreds wash ashore is an ok excuse for spawn to be on the shore, but makes more sense that surivors would be far away from the highly populated areas and be mostly people who fled early into the mountains and forests. My second suggestion would be to have more military camps. but sort of break the military weapons into two tiers. The best weapons in the big cities and gear that reserves would have that are scattered by encamped ruins and other key installations. Like radio towers and checkpoints. This would reduce the amount of campers around stary sobor and the airfield, still making it a tense situation while not a guarantee that bandits are there. As I said before this would result in more interesting confrontations in the larger cities, and get firefights in the more interesting locations around ruins and green mountain. Fights in stary sobor are generally predictable around the hill above the camp. Um, bye.
