Very good ideas especially the tin can piece for arrow head, lets hope dayz SA has some great crafting recipes, i would prefer crafting my own bow and arrows i would feel more accomplished when killing zombies.

yeah my problem is landing it in dense forests, as the heli blades hit trees, if i find a little bird i could stash it pretty much anywhere in the woods but in a squad we tend to have a huey, i was looking for a specific spot its impossible to get taken from you but i doubt that

You may aswell join the zombies if this crosses your mind.

Find yourself a nice server with TS3 as Anti said you will find urself some friends the more you play... Although there are not that many friendly people, but if you have player interactions just be aware of them ive been playin for a good 5 months now, and one thing i have learnt is to never let your guard down.

Well couldnt they build a skyscraper and then just copy it around the one map ? Wouldnt look the best but 2 or 3 skyscrapers in a city with like small town stores and stuff, but tbh chernareus is big enough for a game like this

It was my second day of playing dayz, just got a grasp of the inventory system and found a lee enfield and a alice pack, i had a lot of food and a bit of meds i headed up this dirt track i didnt know where i was i ended up running and i made it to stary at the time i was just happy to see a town after crouch running for miles on end, i saw a group of 4 looting the military tents and i just decided to head to the tents to see why there was 4 people in one place, it was a group of bandits of course and i managed to get close but they were all talking on direct chat, and the one guy had seen me nd said shoot him so i pulled up my lee enfield my adreniline running through my body i was shaking my heart racing i had never felt this expierence in a game before, i shot two guys and the other guys decided to seperate and run different ways away from me i never felt so accomplished in a game knowing i survived, i picked up an AK74 from one of the guys i killed and some ammo from the tents i ended up running back down to elektro and i survive with that character for 11 days and i played about 4/6 hours a day, and then i teamed up with a few people and i felt a lot safer with team mates to help me out!

Alot of people are expecting bugs with the standalone, but not me if its taking the dayz dev team to release the standalone alot longer after it was expected as rocket said it had to be out before the end of 2012 but it still isnt out, and for that reason and that reason alone i think it will hardly have any bugs. Im hoping that the standalone will be worth the wait! But yea arma2 is worth it, the multiplayer is good, i also love the editor, but still arma2 combined operations is good, extra vehicles etc.

Ive started a new series of dayz cinematics, i will try and capture alot of the dayz expierence into it, but with a realistic feel to it.

My firs kill waa accidental, i was playing for the second time and had teamed up with someone who i met on the forums, i still play with him now an i met him like 6 months ago, and we had 20/30 zombies after us an i had a winchester, he had good gear a bizon sd an coyote backpack etc.. And a zombie had hit him and he tryed to bandage and a zombie attacked him so in fear i tried to shoot the zombie and missed, i collected his gear ran off gave him his gear back because i felt so guilty for killing him

Ive been playing DayZ+ for a good few days, and ive died once and that was because of zombies ive come across 2 bandits and 7 friendly survivors on the server i play on, the bandits where easy to scare away as they ran out of ammo quick because they took one silly mistake of a shot at me and got rushed by a horde of zombies, and the friendlys were armed players who were willing to give out food and share a bit of ammo to help get out of the town succesfully, i play in a group of 3 sometimes 5 people and we dont shoot on site or run in like crazy, you have to plan an play tactically as if it were real, i feel asif its added a much better expierence to dayz as i havent played for like a month, a few days on Dayz+ and im hooked again, cant wait for the standalone

I am absolutely loving this server! by far my favorite server for dayz gameplay!

glad Pedro is on the server gives me someone to set up base with, loving this server need a few more players though. i like the green zones and vehicle spawns makes my dayz experience a lot better!!

Well M14 is my favourite but i also love the M24 and the M4A1Holo

The green zones cover cherno and elektro to sto noobish pvp and bandits killin fresh spawns fir no reason, i think greenzones a good idea, a mice place to setup trade and team up and know you wont die
