This will prove to be a great mechanic to put in game myself. Makes it a lot more realistic when it comes to being attack by an infected and picking up something nasty. And the way to treat it will put some realism in that as well. Will make the game more interesting I feel. wonder if this will be mod only or will it be in the stand alone? Hope so for both

I thought it was pretty good. Not to scary and got some eliments of day z in it like the russian writeing on the sign, the country side, the heli crash, and just enough in it to make people think "Hmm this looks interesting. wonder what it is. Must go to the site and find out"

Personally I like the idea of a perma death feature in the mod. gives you more reason to try and stay alive and watch yor back and hone your skills fo rthis game -
The trouble i find with the private servers is most of them have a very high pibg rate which for me is a problem as my computer cant seem to play properly on teh high ping servers

You could always try the winchester uk server. Thats userly got a high pop and its a great place to just hang and play some decent day z -

Personally id stick with steam. Means you can install it on any computer without fear of loseing the discs and would be far easyer. Thats what im gonna be useing -
