On one server I had an over-abundance of vehicle and care parts everywhere. I'm talking like 3-4 wheels and jerry cans in EVERY room of an industrial facility.

I'm pretty sure i'm 10x the man he will ever be. I killed 3 people with a Makarov without them knowing until it was too late. I am far superior. Now I know you're either trolling or just fucking stupid. -_- I don't even know who that is, but he looks weak in comparison to my alpha male dominance I display in DayZ. I challenge anyone to a Makarov showdown, you are all weak. That is Sergeant Dakota Meyer of the United States Marine Corps. He saved the lives of 13 Marines and Soldiers and 23 Afghans. Get your head out of your ass and you might know that. Respect for him, however I don't respect your country for it's propaganda and fake wars over false hopes. That's part of the reason I don't look into the deaths and bravery of soldiers, they're ultimately sent in for a lost cause that has no meaning other than 'WE NEED OIL' or 'PROTECT THE PEOPLE FUCK YEAH AMERICA AND PRIDE' or 'INVADE COUNTRIES THAT DON'T NEED OUR HELP AND GET MAD WHEN THEY SHOOT BACK AKA IRAQ'. So yes, I do respect them for what they do however it's sad that when they die because of those reasons I mentioned above. Sorry for off-topic. In response to all the others with insults, you sound incredibly mad over some text written over some internet forums. I think you have brain AIDS or some form of mental problem as I noticed that the person's spelling seems to deteriate the angrier they are, showing a lower IQ than a smart guy such as myself would possess. If you care to actually read what I had written, you would have noticed that I never said that it wasn't fair and I even defended his right to do it from people saying that he was part of the problem. What I called bullshit was him posting about it and acting like he was a badass because of it. Killing a group of people who helped you in a game is not bullshit, that is a part of the game and I have been playing it long enough to understand that. Posting about killing people to stroke your ego IS bullshit, and I've been alive long enough to understand that too. No problem with the killing. I just have a problem with ego-strokers posting stories about how they killed someone in a game. I actually haven't played this game in a while, and I have been outside plenty. I just have a low bullshit tolerance period. I don't care if it's online, offline, or where ever bullshit is bullshit. What he did was perfectly fair and within the game mechanics. It isn't bullshit, it's a pretty important part of the game and what keeps the intensity going. Not knowing who you can trust is pretty intense and keeps you on your toes. Sorry if you can't handle that aspect of the game, you should probably play something else. Correct, I ran around and got abunch of zombies after hearing them discussing the interior walls of Elektro Church. I shouted 'HELP', they opened the doors and my dark work began. I didn't shoot on sight, I tactically thought of what I was doing and my plan executed perfectly. Don't like tactical play? They could have easily turned on me with three of them, I just took my chances and took their lives first. Bandits are apart of the game, whether you like it or not and I played my role well.

I haven't used the flares yet out of worry of just how much they attracted. But you could always get a suicidal friend. Tell him to use Global chat. xD And just RUNNNNN~ You profit. :D Friend if alive gets what you feel they deserve. That would be hilarious however they won't become attracted to you, only the flare. They don't take into account the direction/angle it's thrown etc. only where it lands. They will slowly walk towards it and then circle in a 10-15 meter radius while more and more zeds join in the party. Plenty of time for you to sneak in while they're at one side of the town and you can loot the opposite side and central areas if you maintain distance. Ah alright. I wasn't aware as to the pull power of it. I'm normally cautious as to use a Flare period due to the 'players' that would see it. I believe he said that they were going to be interested in light sources in general correct? So flashlights and chemlights? That and I already know the pulling power of a Fire. That Fire pulls zombies like nuts. Never used a flashlight due it not being useful for me with NVGs. Chemlights are like flares but the radius is much smaller, so you will aggro a lot less zeds. Both make you easy targets to a bandit or other players, which is why I encourage throwing it a distance away from you. You can bait both zombies and players into looking for you near the light source when you're actually in the shadows 600 meters away picking up beans and some matches. Helps set up surprise kills also.

So yesterday after the first release of the 1.5.8.2 patch, I was playing on a UK based server with about 40-50 people when people started experiencing mass amounts of FPS lag. Ignoring this, I venture into Kamenka despite adjusting my settings and encountering zero performance boost and begin shooting a proned survivor. 4 clips later he somehow stands up, turns around, salutes and then kills me. His name ended up being THEARCN and others were reporting of the same guy hacking helicopters and various weapons in order to cause chaos. Trying to work out why the whole server was having an FPS seizure, it turns out a massive fire or nuke had been spawned (potentially by the same guy) just outside of Elektro that you could see for miles and literally covered the entire width of my 18 inch screen. On top of this, the whole of Elektro was pretty much lit up like a Christmas Tree due to the reflection of the fire. Upon closer inspection, the cause of the fire seemed to be a huge metal object in the center of it, much like a broken nuke shell which someone had clearly hacked into the game. I don't know if this is the same for others experiencing the same FPS issue, but i'd take a guess and say something similar may be occurring. Just thought i'd aware the administrators and see if others had any other events like this to discuss or report since the latest patch/hotfix. Thanks.

Oh okay, maybe I was wrong however the metal object resembled this: http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/b/b2/Mini_nuke.png Half of it was missing/cracked however and it looked rusted. Similar shape although slightly bigger than the one in the picture.

People have reported entire portions of the map suddenly dying and having a large fire in it's place, hence the nuke shell at the center of it. Yeah, he literally spent his time to turn around and slowly and gaze into my eyes while he salutes and 1 hits me with his Winchester. :(

Am I the only person who noticed the less amount of zombies and respawns? I managed to chuck a flare and have 3/4s of a medium sized town's zed population walk towards it distracted and not have a single new zombie appear in the 10-15 minutes I spent looting. Perhaps try this method instead of shooting them, as they don't seem to be replaced, even if they stray far away from their supposed spawn point.

I also thought mine was broken, but I realised you need to right click the ACTUAL ITEM in your bag slots in order to see the menu options. You're making the same mistake as me and just right clicking the name of the item with the amount you have next to it and seeing 0 options appear whilst you slowly bleed out. I made the same mistake and reported it as a bug, don't be confused with right-clicking the name of the item as opposed to right-clicking the item itself (the picture in your bag slots). Hope this clears up the new inventory system for other people with the same issue. [Another Fix]

I miss-understood it and thought right-clicking the name of the item was the correct method. When that failed' date=' I didn't think to try the actual item/picture in the bag slots so I assumed mine was glitched. I made this thread incase others did the same. [hr']

Inventory is broken for me as well, can't right click anything and had to bleed out. Sigh.

I'd also like to know whether this means overall zombie population decreased or whether he's referring to the crazy 'zombie spawn infront of you proning LOL' issue that was occurring regularly.
