  1. Updated the initial post with #### EDIT TAGS, read and reply please if you have knowledge how to solve this, or even an educated guess.
  2. How does this effect the gameserver software? If the network is static with no interfearance, as mine is...
  3. I forgot to include in the initial post that I'm suffering from the "Receiving missionfiles 0kb/0kb"-stuck Every user on my server is suffering from that, until you press esc, and re-join. Thats when you are able to join the server.
  4. This is another attempt to solving a problem that seems to be hopeless. I'm running a Dayz Private server on a virtual windows machine. The Network is NAT'd. I have ports including 2302-2305 forwarded to the LAN host. I have updated DayZ files to 1.7.3 and BE .dll's to the latest, many many many times. I have tried updating the Arma2 beta patch between the last three latest releases. And my problem is, when the server starts, no one is able to join without being kicked by battleye for atleast 1-2 times. In addition to this, battleye randomly swipes all the players off the server ( with the message: client not responding ) I'm in full control of the virtualserver and the host. Are there some ports I need to open for battleye that are more or less 'hidden'. Taking all sorts of advice, just need to get forward with this.. ### EDIT I forgot to include in the initial post that I'm suffering from the "Receiving missionfiles 0kb/0kb"-stuck Every user on my server is suffering from that, until you press esc, and re-join. Thats when you are able to join the server. #### /EDIT #### EDIT2 Further investigation done, apparently the first connection attempt from a client that is trying to join the server shows as the servers gateway address. Battleye then kicks the client off the server for "Client not responding". When the client re-attempts to join, the server will now see the clients real IP-address and everything works like a charm. Does anyone have a solution for this? as I said, I have the ports 2302-2305 forwarded from host to the NAT'd guest machine. Theres no firewall. #### /EDIT2 #### EDIT3 Deleted the server files, reinstalled a clean arma2 installation from steam, merged the folder, installed the dayz private hive files. Now I got rid of the 0kb/0kb problem, but the battleye clientkicking remains... #### /EDIT3 -R
  5. Performance appears to be superb. This server is running on 8 Physical CPU cores dedicated up to 85% per core. The new DayZ version 1.7.3 appears to be functional and no version related bugs noted yet... What I forgot to mention is the server location, its in a French Datacenter running 24/7, providing excellent network access. Theres a low ping from Scandinavia, no laggyness or poor performance issues. This is my attempt to lure you in, send me a mail and get whitelisted!
  6. Theres a new player in town. Retry Community is a bunch of people been playing games and running servers since 2002. Today its time to launch the RetryDayZ server!!! This server has the most challenging difficulty set and all the Call-of-Duty-features disabled. To get yourself whitelisted, send e-mail to dayz@retrypaja.net. or register to http://retry.fi forums! Fill in some details about yourself and your guid. I will introduce to you a brand new server, with all vehicle and helispawns at their original location. Team up and take the heat. Requirements: DAYZ 1.7.3 Files ARMA: 98220 There's a request for you to retain from using the internet tools that allow you to spawn gear or teleport. Please dont inject. BR -Jake

1 Free Dayz Server Please review

Yea way, I've ran gameservers since I was 14, Can't say it was 100% professional but rules were followed and the servers were up to date, and there were no admin f*ckery. Honest.

Host Altitude - get your shit together

Host altitude actually has really long response time for support tickets. I'm more unsatisfied than satisfied customer of theirs. I've had the server for about two weeks now and with horror I wait for the moment it goes down or has problems. What separates good from bad hosters, is how they handle problems. Multiplay Hosting is so far best I've come across, but also very expensive.
