Either someone was there to troll, or it could be someone waiting for a friend (and killing everyone else that isn't him).

I mostly leave players alone, even if I have an AS50, seeing some guy a kilometer away from me, I rather just watch him go than try to put a bullet in him... If I fear someone is too supicious, or is endangering my own safety, I might kill them. Might. Many times I also run away, and I have survived many sudden firefights that way :P

I have always loved TSFH :D And I recoginzed that song instantly :) I guess I'll have to try playing DayZ at night, on a night server, playing the Ashes soundtrack at the same time... THE HORROR D; Hilarious video btw :P

I've seen quite a few, and I know some of the general locations too... problem is I never find them when I'm looking for them x/ Never found one with rare loot yet... My buddy found a FAL the other day but he died, and his corpse mysteriously despawned (seems to be some kind of bug since the corpse of another guy I killed there mysteriously insta-hid when I killed him)... It's always been less rare weaps like m14's and ak's... and medical boxes most of the time :/ Still looking for dem NVG's tho xD

So... this update has gone live already? And servers just need to restart to reset and respawn the vehicles?

I've only found a GPS twice... Once on a bandit I killed, and the second time on my own corpse lol... After a horrible encounter with a bugged house floor, with only about 300 blood on me, a zed hits me once and I start bleeding... I die, respawn and then race back to my corpse and pick everything up again xD I've never found any NVG's, I've made many trips to the NWAF, and I've also found a few heli crashes, but still nothing :/ The barracks I can understand, because most often someone's already been through there, OR been loot-piling the shit out of the place... But I have yet to give up hope :D One day I shall be the lucky one!

First I got script restriction #16... now I seem to be getting script restriction #113... D:

I've had a bug though where everyone else could use side chat, but not me... But yeah, some servers disable side and global for more immersion.

I'd totally write my own journal, that'd be awesome :D +1 to this idea!

Getting the same thing here, so far saving cars and tents get stuck for me... the "make fireplace" also seems to be bugged, hidden in the scroll menu when you roll down one step beneath the "last/lowest" option... The highlight will dissappear and if you click it will tell you (if you lack wood anyway) that "making a fireplace here is not possible".

Yeah, nice vid. Have spawned near elektro a few times, and that place is always my destination before heading out. Those buildings are full of potentially awesome stuff (for the first hour at least) in such large quantity. And then there's also the possibility of finding dead players, which often could reduce the time to get a big pack, a decent primary and perhaps even a map/compass/gps right away :D Yeah, as long as the stuff you got on isn't really of value, you're not really that considerate about your surroundings... The longer you live though, and the more cool stuff you accumulate in your inv/pack, the more paranoid you become ;D

Servers are still updating... and some are still running "old" 1.5.8 instead of the newest hotfix 1.5.8.1 Hopefully most servers should be up and running this version soon :)

Awesome! Yeah, they are, at least for me. In the short time I was in, I spawned in the exact location I logged out before :)
