It's a PvP game with survival aspects. It is not the "survival horror sandbox" people think it is.

I'm a fan of the zombies running in straight lines, that fix alone has got me keen.

DayZ requires a completely different approach to gameplay than the fps shooters that are available. You can't just run and shoot/twitch at the mouse button.
