It could be your connection speed, I seem to run faster than my friends (no hero skin either), once I checked our ping I came to this conclusion.

Sometimes vehicles make an engine revving sound or beep when you are near them. I think it's a position give-away mechanic.

I still think sick people will store their valued gear somewhere and kill themselves.. Perhaps a penalty for suicide/death from anything other than player or zombie kills? -

What about shift workers etc. Some people get poor ping unless they connect to local servers (Australians for example) Should my friends never experience DayZ in daylight because of their jobs?
