I usually tend to stay away from persistent servers and am still having this problem. Did they lower the spawn for things like AK47s and Mossins?

Before you could loot up a server for everything it had then wait for it to reset and go back and reloot those same areas for more loot. Now I feel like upon server reset the server doesn't spawn in any new loot. I've server hopped about 30 times in a place with barracks and haven't even found a damn hand gun. WTF?? Someone explain please.

I play mostly first person and have since Alpha first started. Today I decided to give Third person a go since that's basically what you have to do to go pvp since all the first person only servers are less than 10 people.... Since I've switched over I can't find a fucking thing! No food, No drink, No supplies. I went through and looted every building in Cherno and found ONE piece of fruit. Found plenty of pens though... Wtf is with the loot in third person servers? I'm not in a persistent server and I join servers that are close to restart..

So would you say it's worth it to hunt them down?

Well I found a good Heli crash site route that I've been taking then server hopping. I was in a server that was resetting and when I loaded in I could see it off in the distance. I know I was the first person there. Any other thoughts?

I haven't played in like 3 patches but I started back up and after getting looted from a few of the new military bases I decided to go Heli crash hunting. After a few hours I've finally come across one but the loot was terrible and not even worth the time spent trying to find it. Did they lower the spawn rate on things? How far does loot spawn from the heli crash itself?

Hey guys. I'm trying to figure out how to host my own DayZ Standalone server using a server I already own. Google is only showing me places I can go to rent a servers. Any information is welcome.

Looking to just do some down to earth 1v1 ground and pound pvp in DayZ. We can set parameters on a certain city or open woods and just go at it. Maybe even save each others gear so we can go again after. Anyone interested?

I press Print Screen in game and when I paste it to Paint it just shows up as all black... How do I take a screen shot?

I really cannot think of any more info that might help you help me. I try to take a screen shot in game (print screen) and when I go to paste it in paint it comes back as just an all black screen. I'll read that article so thanks for posting.

How come every time I try to take a screen shot in Dayz the picture just comes back all black?

Thanks! NSEW and using the map just became much easier. I also found out that if I log in and back out I know where i'm around and then I just use an online map to try and figure out where I need to go from there.
