DON'T The last version was "Free" to download...then buy the maps, gear etc you had to pay for... the entire thing is micotransactions! Maybe it's changed...but i doubt it -

After endless topics on bloodbags and their effect on the game from, self healing, balance, imbalance, lets put it too vote...and end this! I am for the removal of bloodbags for several reasons. These reasons concern realism, balance, reducing KOS and improving the overall experience. Less gimmicks, more surival, more stories. If you can list arguements in favor that would be appreciated, because we could get a discussion going about whats good about bloodbags besides them being easy. *Balance: Player Spread KOS Potential Reduction: *Realism: Very Rare Spawn Option Better healing solutions? Happy to hear counter arguments...i think for the listed reason removal enchances gameplay....if you think otherwise...let us know

What about fresh gameplay mechanics, useful and rare non lethal loot or heck just loot that isnt guns. So many guns, far to much ammo. Another gun to kill people with is worthless, there are ample already.

Nah...keep all, (besides AS50) AND add wind. Self descriped "snipers" or people who enjoy "sniping" will pretty quickly stop posting kill videos. Before all of this if you're still getting taken out by snipers after months of not learning how to avoid getting "sniped" in the first place..learn! *Don't run in the open where possible rather run where there is cover *Don't loot in the open/windows *Run along defilades in the open terrian that you can dive into prone if you take fire *Cross open ground at the narrowest point between cover *Run in tree lines *Quarter away from known sniper alleys in a horizontal fashion. I only once encountered a person attempting to snipe me after 8-9 months of playing and it was three days ago. Shots were taken in execss of one mile. The delay was long enough that i heard the thud of the bullet, cognised, pressed record and then got the dull report of the shot on camera. Shots were close but they missed. Being shot at 300-500 meters is not being sniped. Thats a regular engagement just outside of the zero of many small arms.

Haha what a coincidence...im not targeting you a swear...but seriously...this isnt counter sniping, they never even shot anyone, false adversting, i came for countersniping, none was had, im sad i love the rage saga, it was kinda funny, i never replied or even read what you might have said back because frankly my reply was a bit overboard -

1) Aruging to include something in DayZ becuase it has casual appeal? ^_^ And removing BB from loot spawn does not oblierate any aspect of teamwork, it shifts the focus. We gravitate to what resource is easy exploit for its yield compared to the effort and put in. Blood is easier than animals. If blood was removed groups would shift to to hunting animals and cooperation is expanded that way. "I've also never really seen them as blood bags as such but more blood transfusion kits" Beg yours?! 2) Blood bags can only be kept in refridgeration. Morphine, penthorx inhalers etc while not enough to make a person support full weight on compound fracture to their leg do suit as a tempory fix to many other broken bones/serious pain. As i have first hand experience (witnessing). Essentially moprine does not have a short used by date. Currently leg bones are the only bones that break, not ideal.

Added...but barely...a very, very rare rate of spawn. 0.01% seems good. It only really effects squads and sqauds spread out and check multiple spawns...it would have to be very slim. And in boxes 1 at a time, not 5. 5 bags per box!...thats a squad covered with leftovers.

Ahh if ever there was a convincing argument in their favor...and pretty much confirmed all my points. *You don't like black and white? Becuase getting into gunfights should be a happy go lucky inconsiquential experience? *Your right, it is a hassel. A clan/squad spreads out that hassel so its a non issue Bloodbags are never a problem for me. I heal because I hunt and make a point of doing it, hold someone up, or just deal with it. If players were forced out of the cities because there were no blood bags the country side would come alive with players hunting game. Another good point.

It makes the game entirely balanced. All this fretting looking for a way to balance blood for single players without it being explotive. Get rid of the problem at the source. Blood bags, if anything, points to DayZ origions as a military sim. A game world where you could reasonably get a medicevac with state of the art support to revive you where you fell. DayZ is different. The power is off. The blood would fucking rotten, septic tomato paste..im not a medical expert but if I inected some crusty old slime I found lying on the floor into my veins death might be the outcome. Eating food is a pretty reasonable blood regenerating systen. Chowing down 20 steaks silly. Tweak the hunger meter so you can eat only so much food in one sitting before you are full, for the sake of balance a little bump of 1000-2000 blood per session seems fair. This could also reduce KOS. When players who gunfights find themselves get clipped, and having to run away to lick their wounds the trolling element would pretty quickly drop away. A lack of blood bags brings serious risks to a gunfight. A single gunshot wound has meaning if players can't instantly heal. *Keeping above going hungry level should regen your blood quicker. *Being full but not in surplus slows it down. *Being at netural or hungry stops regen *Starving makes it go down.

So i logged back on after yesterdays fail server...DMR, Ghille, GAZ and 6 Boiled Waters are gone...but so is side chat! Best server rises again!

Last night I found three cars and destroyed two, upgrading as i went. Server was down last night so i might have lost the GAZ :( BB AU was the best aussie server and one of the best servers for vanillia DayZ when it didn't have side chat. It still is, just a little shittier. Some extra added in buildings in remote areas but not gamebreaking at all. Good clans and players play BB but plently of peolpe who don't KOS and will team. I reccorded one of the best gun fights i ever had in DayZ as well...self vs MEDIC Squad(?)... 1 v 4 it was awsome

Heck from that distance it was would not have been easy! (and i didn't see him till you did) I've only done it cold once to a ghille sniper. A long green blur spotted under a tree with binos. He was good, not moving a muscle. I decided to take a shot after a full minute of looking afrer making him by his hands, they looked too white (i missed, he rolled like a madman left right left again, despite my epic spot i later died :() Trees/rocks/thick bushes offer the only cover for players can take cover so they will inevitably be at the bottom of it. It's just a question of which. Last, not trying to sound too lecture-y but you immediately spotted him by his movement when he was looking around. Think how looks in reverse when you were scanning the coast. I suggest burying the barrel in the ground and using free look to keep your head up and look around. No weapon profile, no bright white hands and no movement. Then move to take your shot. Other than the nit picking nice work and good team!

Good team play vs sneaky bandit...nice...nice...best lesson is too look the base of bushes and trees and try to see any strange objects that should not be there, you'll pretty much catch em out

Well that was suprisingly upbeat despite my tone! Have some beans for good humor and truth... I'd say editing cutting down helps but i don't know what you want out of this in terms of comments is all...you know...its snipining people in cherno,seen it many times before

Enjoy! Everything wrong with DayZ in one video! Abusive third person periscoping, panic rising in their voices with every encounter, average players who somehow get good gear and decide to snipe new spawn hot spot and every shot and movement begs for a counter snipe...where was a sniper who could deliver on that...so sad

Players should develop Mental illness

No and no and no. I develop my own mentality and if a forced dissonance arises between my character and how my mental state actually is (due to the the gameplay and its effect on me) I would be the puppetmaster of an avatar that isn't me. It's not my story. And my story is the crux of DayZ. I get combat stress, I get so pissed off , I QQ, after a 1 hour counter sniping battle I run head first (and fully geared) into the M107 because i just don't give a shit anymore. I kill people because i want a chuckle, I save somebody but don't team becasuse I want to help and I team up because I can't take the world alone. Some people would thirve, some people crack and all the while human dynamism makes or breaks the player, not RPG stats. DayZ is one of the few games that lets you transpose yourself, in a completely dynamic way, onto an avatar. Heck it's a full body experience, the adreniline, the nerves, the exictment. I do not want to reach a gameplay threshold where I am fully in charge of conscience but my character isn't. It shatters the entire experience. SA will (hopefully) push this by experience to the limit refining the current one, not because RPG/Skills/Perks/Karma thresholds are added. Thats a new game and a done and dusted, oversaturated, dime a dozen game. -
