I want the perks to be in Dayz they need to be you cant just carry all the medical loot and be the medic of your team there needs to be some realism here. People had jobs before the apocalypse, Doctors/nurses, mechanics police officers, or even a civilian. People complain that one class will be to unbalanced but thats the point you put them in and you see which class people are picking and if one class is overpowered than you nerf it. There has to be those skill sets that will give people a reason to group up, cause right now I could care less who this guy is i have no need to keep him around its not like he can heal me, repair the car or anything like that. I had an idea myself that every action in the game would have a success/fail rate where if im with a buddy and he needs a blood transfusion my inexperienced character could do it with a 50% success rate where if we found someone who was lets say a nurse or a doctor before the apocalypse they could do it wit ha 95% percent success rate. Its the little things like that, that make the game more immersive and fun. Stuff like this would give people a bigger connection to their character and that would make death that much more heartwrenching. Currently when people die they don't care about the character they care about the loot they lost, and i think it should be the other way around.

Armor values, hats and helmets (standalone, probably)

I like what Delta Smoke 01 said about vests that they shouldn't knock you out unless its a 6k+ hit. I think however that if you receive a bullet to the chest while waring a vest it should knock the wind out of you and make aiming a bit harder the balancing factor would be when not waring a vest a bullet to the chest puts you in pain and is thus harder to aim and unlike knocking the wind out of you it will take pain pills to get rid of it. Now helmets i think should be in the game but it should be like Riot gear face shield to protect against shrapnel from explosives, Military Kevlar helmet to protect against hand gun rounds and can ricochet poorly aimed rifle rounds, and bicycle helmets that could maybe ricochet poorly aimed handgun rounds if that. Vest i definitely think should be in the game as stated above. can't take concentrated fire but if struck will protect against that damage. -

In my honest opinion i just feel like you could do so much more with zombies rather than infected. Zombies would react so much better to this game then the infected would. I honestly think zombies are more scary then infected its that shoot in the head thing that puts the pressure on you. I rather would have the zombies they're just more versatile i hate how they run after you while aggro'd what i want to see is zombies at slower paces but a lot more of them just set them at the zombie fast walk and perfect. They're should be much more zombies roaming around that way if you fire a shot then you'll have zombies coming 360 degrees around you. I want to be able to maneuver the zombies like so (1:39 is the part i m ooking for) -

Ideas: Bloodtypes and changes to wildlife, Epi-pen and Matches

I like these ideas however id bump up those lighter and match uses for sure 4 is way to low for a lighter, the average smoker from one Bic lighter can get around 1,000 lights so honestly in the world of dayz i can't see someone using the entire lighter in one life time, unless they added more uses like smoking a cigarette, sterilizing medical equipment, or even setting a gas tank or Jerry can a light. I do like your ideas on blood bags however blood types would be a very confusing system to people since no one really can name off the top of they're head which blood you can use for A positive. I would like to see blood bags nerfed for example the games blood system is based off the amount of blood in one person so the average human has around 5-6 liters of blood and at 2k per each liters the comes out to 10000-12000 blood Arma 2 went with 12000 cause why not? Each blood bag contains 1 unit of blood which is 500 ML of blood 1000ML is a liter so it would take 10-12 blood bags to fully heal a person since each blood bag would heal 1000 blood. BAM blood bag nerfed to a realistic amount and with your hunting ideas cooked meat would be much harder to come by. -
I love these ideas, i really agree with people having to get attached to their character as it gives more incentive to survive. However I would like just to throw in one more suggestion: The abort button should have a 20 seconds timer before your character leaves that way people who get in gun fights don't just leave in the middle of it. Also your character should be able to shoot while running so he gives up accuracy for movement but that way gunfights don't end up in a Mexican stand off with someone here and some one over there.

I like the idea of hallucinations, in reality there is no one that could not become delusional from the amount of stress, fear, and anger that a player endures in this game (trust me I use to work in the psych ward in my local hospital, people aren't made to stay under such conditions for such long periods of time.) This is also a reason a lot of soldiers that return home often have P.T.S.D. Back to the point it would be a little better I think to have a meter that is above the weather one that with enough time would slowly turn red and once that happens the delusions kick in, and perhaps a way to cure it is grouping up with someone, finding anti depressant, or when the stand alone comes out to stay in your underground base away from zombies and bandits.

Simple solution for Graphical Artifacs

Something i did was turn my Vertical refresh on, i have a radeon graphics card so people with Catalyst control center just open it up click the gaming tab then go to 3d applications and look for wait for vertical refresh then set it to On, unless application specifies. This cleared up my artifacts haven't seen one since then. -
A way to help curb the amount of pointless murders by people.

So after just being murdered for the 10th time by someone with a AS50 that was a top the large industrail building in Cherno, I've been thinking of a way to help curb the amount of players that kill for fun in Dayz. So as someone continues to kill players there humanity drops, only logical that the players Psych drops as well. I was thinking that if someone keeps killing these people and dropping their own characters humanity maybe the character will become to contemplate suicide and shoot themselfs for the inhumanity that they have endured. I think for the character to commit suicide it would have to be after quite a few murders that way regualr players who maybe get shot at and kill the shooter arent going to kill theselves. This effect could happen only if the characters humanity is at a certain low point where no normal player could reach manly becuase the normal player might meet up with someone give them a blood transfusion or bandage them and raise their humanity back up. This might now be a complete solution but i think that it may help stop people in northwest airfield or in one of the major cities to kill for fun. This method could still allow people to kill others for supplies if they so needed just as long as they arent ruthlessly murdering people. Kind of a side note i just thought of as i was writing this maybe as your humainty drops certain things begin to happen to your chracter like Hullucinations, Random screams to stop the voices in their head (maybe could attract zombies), or even inflicting pain to oneself maybe them cuttign their wrists and the blood could attract zombie? Anyway it's just an idea feel free to comment and leave suggestions and explain how it would help/hinder game play. (This part is important becuase i feel people think there is no way to combat the suicide of your player) *No in a nutshell im saying someone camping Cherno with a high powered rifle thats 1 hit kill in the body and out of range of any small fire arm you may find while in town isn't exactly considered a fair fight. I know Dayz is a Roleplayer and if you want to be a crazy lunatic killer then fine but if you sit up there for 5 hours and are out of reach of anyone how is that all fair? If you control the biggest city in the game which about 50% of everyone goes to when they first spawn and have are absolutley no threat then how is it any different from Spawn Camping in WoW? Theres no way to counter this guy cause the ladder going up makes about as much noise as a car starting up and even if you do get a lee enfield or some gun like that he'll most likely disconnect. What I was hoping this would do is lower the amount of these people that kill and have no repercussions. This isn't immediatly when your characters a bandit, there would be signs prior to your character actually commiting suicide. Say instead of someone killing 50 people in cherno they could only kill 10 then they would have to go back and raise their humanity back to a point so they could go kill more people. This doesnt Eliminate banditing it just makes it more of a hastle. and if the bandit goes into town to try to raise his humanity i.e. Bandaging a friend or giving a blood transfusion then atleast he is in harms way of some other survivor having a fair chance to get him.* -
Weapons i would like to see in the game and why.

I like the idea of more weapons but this is the czech republic I dont want anymore Nato/western weapons. I want more soviet and Russian ones I.E. Dragonov, Sks, Moison nagant stuff like that. I know arma 2 is based around a Nato invasion but for stand alone i like ot get rid of that and see more soviet weapons true to the area. -
Absolutely perfect zombies and this itself is a mod already for Arma 2 called the undead mod. Honestly to save some time rocket should ask those mod creators if he could use their zombie A.I. and models.

It's Alpha testing the point was to get rid of it because realistically you shouldn't even be allowed to corpse run back to your body. The respawn button was abused horrifically, people that spawned in Kamenka Kameshovo Cap golava and all those places just pressed respawn until they were in either Electro or Cherno which was stupid anyway because it didn't matter if they where they spawned if you killed someone you could be 100% sure they were coming back. Now with it disabled people either kill themselves by zombies or deal with the fact they died and start fresh.

Maybe you only get one key but you have to find other way to make copies of the key for teammate?.

AI Bandit/Military/Civilian survivors

But this wouldn't do anything to help the game. Right now Dayz is mostly very paranoid people with the shoot first philosophy if you want to stop that you have to add a reason for people to group up because right now the only reason is the companionship and most people that are gamers don't care about that. I understand the idea of an I.A. patrol but in reality about 80% of the As50s are spawned in by hackers so if they fixed hacking completely and reset everyones character there would be a lot less killing going on by snipers since those high powered guns would be extremely hard to find again. Point is these are A.I. configurations you can't talk to them trade with them reason with them and they won't shoot you randomly, people like the unpredictability of humans not knowing if they guy you just picked up is going to shoot you in the back. -
What do you mean you're not suppose to keep a vehicle for ever? of course you are.The only reason they aren't is because server resets are constant, it extremely hard to repair a car since everything is broken all they time, and people steal them. This is a realistic feature and solution to the Dayz vehicle system. Plus I think vehicles would be a much more common in a first world country, Ethiopia has more damn vehicles than Chernarus.

Great idea I've been there before just sitting there and all of a sudden hearing *Vroom* and there goes the perp driving away. This would be a definite boost to the game.
