You don't have to play on the servers with beefed up spawns, yet some people like them. Private hives are an amazing thing, as it lets peoples creativity really come out. I for one, will be moving my server to private hive as soon as possible. Its WAY easier to maintain a solid gaming community that way as well. -
This is a valid point. It takes almost no time AT ALL to traverse the entirety of the map. I would like to see it expanded, with more PvE opportunities available to the players.

No, slow and steady wins the race. 1 update a month to fix minor issues and to introduce 3-4 new things is good for me. Lest we all forget, great games take time. One of the greatest IMO was Fallout 3, and that was in development for FIVE YEARS.

The item dupe glitch is still there. I accidentally duped my body near zelenogorsk, but I have no idea how to recreate it. As far as him hitting you through a rock, I have no clue what that could have been, maybe a part of you was sticking out, and just remember, just because you can't see them doesn't mean they can't see you. -
Did spawns move further north again?

I think so, the farthest south I've spawned was Nizhnoye since the last update. Also, I seem to be spawning inland a lot more as well. I hardly ever get coast spawns again, which I like. -

I use a batch file that starts up the game with all the parameters I use. I find it to be much more stable, however, you have to manually update/install things. -

Go to your ArmA 2 OA folder, then go to the expansions folder, then delete the beta folder, and re-install patch 1.62 -
1. Pants and boots ARE implemented correctly, there are just some collision/desync errors when on second/third stories. And if its that big of a deal, then just stop picking them up. 2. We know the sound is broken, but if you did any research at all, and actually took the time to read shit, which, im over 100% positive you didn't, then you would know that they hired a dedicated audio team that will focus on nothing but that. 3. How about you actually read the change logs. The hype is for zombie mechanics and hunting, but if you actually dig deep and take 30 seconds out of your oh-so-busy day you will find they are working on other things as well. 4. The reason they are working on new towns and weapons now is to ensure that alllllllllllll possible bugs associated with them will be patched as soon as possible. Hence why the spawns are all up north, as they want people to explore these new areas and try to find issues with them so the devs can quickly fix them, and its the same way with the guns. They added the AKM, and want people to start using that instead of the M4 to try and help debug it, hence why they only spawn at heli crashes now. Your entire post is nothing more than a childish rant from someone that clicks the "I Understand" button, but doesn't understand one bit. I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I see a thread like this. Just know that in your absence, the game and community as a whole will be better off.

Same. Me and a buddy were looting one of the military bases, and the ambient noises already had us on edge. It was night time, and all we had were chemlights. Out of no where we hear one growl, and promptly decide to never play namalsk at night again. Haha

Move all your contents from your ArmA 2 addons folder to your ArmA 2 OA addons folder.

Does anyone remember the night time on Namalsk with the bloodsuckers or w/e they were called? Sweet baby Jesus, Joseph, and Mary the ambient noises on that map...... Coupled with night time = nope map.
