Ok so this has been working for me for my initial testings of it. what you will need dayz commander latest BE client So you should have the latest BE client (just google it and download it if you dont have it) and it must go in everyone of you battleye folders in your arma folders. You need both BE client and the BE server. Once you have downloaded it you will have to copy and paste it to these locations: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\BattlEye C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\BattlEye C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye If you do it right the size of the files should be 108 kb and 140 kb respectively IMPORTANT!!!!!! IF YOUR COMPUTER DOES WHAT MINE DID YOU MAY NEED TO RIGHT CLICK BOTH BE FILES, SELECT PROPERTYS, AND UNBLOCK THE PROGRAMS. THIS IS DUE TO YOUR SECURITY BLOCKING THEM SENSE THEY ARE NOT COMMENLY DOWNLOADED. Once you have done this you now need to launch up dayz commander. When you open it in the top right corner you will see settings. When you get into the settings you need to check both boxes under steam, launch with steam and the one below it. The bottom box can remain forever checked. Heres the fix. When you need to alternate checking and unchecking the launch with steam box every time you join the server. This should fix your problem (again not fool proof tested but its been working for me). Reply if you have any questions

So if you new and want to meet leave your skype name (your skype does need to have a mic though obviously). Were going to be a slight pvp group (sorry theres just not much to do after getting the assault rifles i think for all of you that think bandits are stupid :/ ) and we play in the u.s. No experience necesarily required but would be great for obvious reason. Leave your skype name and i will p.m. you if you wont be getting an invite (you probably will)

You want skilled well equipped players with a vehicle to group with and instead of you humbly joining them your asking them to more or less submit to your leadershipcentric ego by joining YOUR group the one that doesnt have a vehicle and as far as i know anything else. Great diplomacy right there.

So im fairly new to dayz (but like everything else, a little logic goes a long way to becoming good fast) and i need some teammates. I have just recently bought my pc and thus do not have a microphone (yet) which is why having one is not a requirement. I am near the dallas area (near being a relative term as far as ping) that is where the server will most likely be based. So if youre a newish player that wants a teammate without a voice chat im your guy. It will be a team of three including myself. So just a recap: NO voicechat required (recommended though) Latest arma 2 and dayz version experience needed (but not a whole lot i have about 5 cumlative hours) Im near electro Near dallas area for server location (sorry brits and pretty much everyone outside the u.s.) post your name if you are interested and meet the small amount of requirements and i will pm you server details.

My router does not support llc or or vc mux :(

Ive done everything i can think of. Updated battleye have the current versions updated my routers firmware. And it just wont work. Can anybody help me? My internet speed is not the problem. Now my router could be but i wouldnt know how to fix it if it was (yes i have the latest firmware). Does batteye just suck? Did i just waste my money on arma? Am i doomed to wait till the standalone? All of the above?

So i almost am able to play dayz. just one problem. i have a paradox of a problem. Let me explain. I have to problems. The beta version (which is not really technically a problem) and getting "you have been kicked because your battleye client is not responding". Heres the paradox. If you fix one you the other one starts! An example: beta version is 95248 is currently running. i use six updater to find a current server and up date it to the newest one with the last two digits beta version 61. As soon as i do this BAM "you have been kicked battleye is not responding". I then go into my steam folder (this is steam version btw) and click on the batteye installation thing in the folder. But then when i do this the paradox happens and im back to version 95248. So can anyone help me? i could probably get a video but ill have to download fraps so preferably no video
