This was fantastic. I really enjoy fan videos of DayZ but this was above and beyond. While watching it I thought it was made by Russian fans shot in Russia because of the town signs. I was thinking to myself in the opening scenes...wow, it looks a lot like Minnesota! I live in Florida but I grew up in Minnesota in the suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Imagine my surprise when I watched 'The Making of DayZ' and they said it was actually shot in Minnesota. Tether looks pretty cool as well. Going to keep an eye on these guys. Thanks sharing this.

I like others bought arma 2 for DayZ. It is actually my first military sim/fps purchase. I usually play mmorpgs. I'm not interested in running set scenarios, campaigns, or taking charge of troops. I have found that bootcamp is fun/helpful with learning controls and keybinds. Sometimes I just want to go to the range and practice without zombies or bandits. :)

I would put you out of your misery but still being a noob and its dark I would probably just get my arse handed to me repeatedly. This happened to me as well when I first started playing a few weeks ago. I was knocked unconscious and had no idea that it could take as long as 10 or so minutes to pop back up. I thought the game froze and closed the game down thru task manager while in this state. Oh big mistake! Every character I then made or logged into was in a similiar state in the same place. Took some searching on google to find out I needed to stay logged in and die of thirst/hunger. Do not be tempted to log out since it will reset the timer. It will take close to 2 hours at least maybe more. I actually logged into a night server hoping I would suffer from hypothermia as well. I think it helped some. I think some guy was actually logged in close to me as I was dying since I could hear him coughing every so often in the dark. Bit unsettling that was. Kept hoping he would actually kill me but no such luck. Hang in there and find something to do like Pendragon said.

Does this work for the female face as well? As in does anyone know if the female face is a modified male model or a different model/uv map?
