I and some other people I talked to ingame has got a strange problem after the latest patch [1.5.8.4]; we cant move our characters when joined the server. It started that I joined a SE server this morning and I could walk around with my character but I had bandit gloves on (never killed a survivor or bandit) and I reacted to it so I pressed numpad enter to see in 3rd person view what my character looked liked but he was not there. My character was invisible. I thought this was strange but aborted and joined another server, now I was back to normal and could walk around and everything. I played for ~30-40 minutes before I disconnected because of "No message received for 30 seconds". Then I joined again and my last progress was not saved, I was back at the same place where I started this morning and I had the bandit gloves on and I could not move or do anything. The player was totally frozen. I talked to some guys in chat and they had the same problem on this and other servers. I tried 4 other servers with the same result. Is this simply a code error or something else? I know that the latest patch is for 1 million characters, has this something to do with that maybe? Do I need to re-name my character or something? Thanks! TL;DR: My character is frozen on all servers. Cant do anything.

I personally like the Kobra but I would choose the M14 over the Kobra any day,

As of right now: Fix the beta-patch to start with steam and SHIFT+TAB and search the forums while running.

Yeh, I like this idea as well. Not that it gets too easy to see but a bit better and you get blinded by muzzle flares or other bright light for a sec or two.

Exactly' date=' indeed. I cant understand the logic behind the other reasoning. Not true, sure this is word against word as well. But I was one of the people in the video and if you know swedish it is even said that one of us gets shot first and dies then we see the guy on the hill and shoots at him. Word against word again, but with this one we have proof.

No the absolutley worst animation/gameplay featured animation is when youa re throwing something. It is almost impossible to get a grenade where you want it and no indication of how hard you are throwing. And you cant run and throw and can not get away fast enough from a grenade at your feet.

I dont get it to work either ... I install it manually. Easiest and with least amount of problems.

Tip: Play with other people via mumble/teamspeak. Raid tents/camps. Find and fix vehicles and then drive around causing mayhem. Roleplay, be a medic that runs around giving random people blood. (Very high death ratio but quite fun.) Not a personal recommendation but some find it entertaining: Kill survivors. Cheaters and people that exploit glitches are nothing unusual when it comes to an alpha with this many players. Nothing to whine about, it is an ALPHA and you haven't payed one dime, enough said.

He gave the blood pack to me but I could not perform it. Nothing happened when I tried to right click in the inventory. The scroll options was not there either.

I had to manually download all the files and put them in the DayZ/Addons folder again. The "DayZ Mod Uploader" didnt do the job properly. Now it works fine for me. I got the help from some random person on a server who had the same problem.

Hi, I have Arma 2 Free and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead installed on my computer to run DayZ (awesome mod btw). But I got the "Addon "dayz_code" requires addon 'CABuildingParts'" and at the menu "no entry: "bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope" and when trying to join a game: " You cannot play/edit this mission. It is dependant on downloadable content thathas been deleted.chenarus". I searched on a lot of forums and finally found a solution to the problem, it was to copy all the files from "Arma 2 Free/Addons" to "Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead/Expansion/Addons" and "Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead/@DayZ/Addons" but NOT to overwrite anything. The only problem is that now the loading screen, menus and even the in-game inventory(?) looks like Arma 2 Free and not Operation Arrowhead. Does anyone know how to change it back? (I have bought it via Steam) I am guessing it is only to remove some of those addons-files that I copied in, but which? If anybody knows it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Where do I edit the properties, in Steam or the actual .exe-file? Is it possible to add the "-nosplash" and such as well? Or only the "@DayZ"-thing? I seem to get the "@DayZ" to work in steam but not if I add " -world=empty -skipintro -nosplash" as well. Why not? I dont have a "Set launch options" on the shortcut. Is it possible to fix this? Ok, thanks! Is there an easy way to delete all the files that are in the a2free addons folder that I copied into the other two addons folders without deleting the ones that was there from the start? :P

Thanks! Do I need to reinstall OA or delete some of the files that are in the addons-folders already? And should I simply copy the a2free addons folder into the a2oa root? But there is no addons folder there now, it is under "Expansions/Addons".
