DayZ has a lot of shit going on, naturally it's going to make your computer struggle a bit to keep up. If you play a small co-op mission with friends you'll notice it's much, much smoother, simply because there aren't 500 units on the map, loot being randomly generated and a plethora of other things.

Got bored after the endless hours I put into it, drove every vehicle in the mod, shot every weapon in the mod, even weapons and vehicles that weren't in the mod, I've seen buildings get demolished by smoke grenades and satchels, seen a huge radio tower impaling a battle ship on top of the cherno hotel, and a few helicopters flying around it fighting each other over control, got bored after messing with people became boring because now all they do is disconnect at the first sign of danger or shoot me while I'm unarmed, without even giving me a chance to mess with them. Also script kiddies everywhere, but that actually makes the game fun if you're not planning on surviving anyways.

Why would you even play with the ingame music enabled? It's like you WANT to be sneaked up on.

Ask the Harvard group of students who decided it would be better NOT to cheat THEIR way through Harvard, they decided to study every day and actually gain some knowledge and competence. Something you obviously haven't obtained, considering you can't even realize there's a difference between their and there, your and you're, let me guess, you're that group of students that cheated his way through everything and lived his life in ignorance and now lacks the knowledge to do the tasks he was supposedly trained to do? I wish you good luck, because perhaps one day you'll be in a situation where cheating won't get you anywhere and you won't know what to do, I also wonder if your wife would also think cheating is effective, maybe one day she'll have two husbands instead of just one, hey, cheating is effective isn't it?

Many more vehicle spawns? We already have a metric shit ton of vehicles spawning per server, the reason you don't see them a lot is because everyone hoards them, they'd do the same if there were more anyways.

You don't really look like a ''hardcore gaming'' community when all you play is a bunch of essentially casual games, it's like playing call of duty and calling yourself a hardcore gamer, or signing up on a website and calling yourself ''MLG'' Nice frontpage though, kinda like it.

Just set it up on a server you like, ya know, good ping, good amount of players, that kind of shit. Although, if you join a high population server I can almost guarantee you there will be a shitstorm involving script kiddies eventually.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. If you have issues with getting ammo for your secondary, use the PDW, because it can also use MP5 mags, even MP5SD mags, which makes the guns silent to zombies only. Hell, using SD ammo on a non-SD weapon will still make it silenced to zombies, but not players, but, it will also make your gun inaccurate AS FUCK.

Here is a very simple guide to loot farming. 1 - Remove all loot from the desired building and place it outside, put everything in the same pile to make it more organized 2 - Hide and wait a few minutes, you do not need to walk away very far, I've done this plenty of times at the NW barracks and I just hid in the little tree next to the building. 3 - Check again, if loot hasn't respawn yet, walk back outside and wait. 4 - Get some friends to help you, I've heard that loot will spawn faster if you have more people near that area, not sure if it's been proven or just an urban myth, either way it's a dull task and having some friends joining ya will definitely make time fly and help you in case someone decides to crash your party. Works for every building, enjoy your easy loot, IF, someone doesn't sneak up on you while you do it. Also, I do enjoy killing people with the guns I've farmed along with my friends, you'll understand once you've clocked at least 200 hours into DayZ without doing it.

I don't see why they would fix it, I mean, it's incredibly fun to throw flares into a populated city, sneak around it and yell at people from the shadows. God, it's hilarious screaming ''Right behind you'' and watching them look around all flustered and confused. Or disconnect, either way.

But, that's the good 20% of the game. The other 80% are split between running from point A to point B and collecting gear, to shoot other players with, but it's mostly running.

Buying Arma JUST for DayZ? No. No, no, no, NO. There's a lot more to arma than dayz, if you're just going to be playing dayz then it's a waste of money. Besides, you'd probably end up buying ONLY arma 2 and not operation arrowhead, which is the only thing you actually need to buy to play dayz.

Take a swim in the nearest lake and cleanse yourself of your sins. Translators note - Swimming causes you to gradually lose your gear, in previous updates it made you lose everything but your secondary weapon if you entered swimming animation.

Why do people think any kind of safety measure like keys would work? Why would a hacker need a car when they can just spawn any vehicle they please? Hell, some people teleport to vehicles and wreck them just for fun, why would they waste their time looking for something when they can just make it?

Stamina is never implemented correctly in any game, ever. OH NO, I RAN MORE THAN 10 FEET, I CAN'T BREATHE, HELP. I think the way it's done in arma is already pretty good, you can sprint for a satisfying distance and then just jog the rest of the way, but, if that ACE feature where you pass out if you're carrying too much weight is implemented, I guess that'd still be good, It'd at least make you think twice about carrying an anti-material rifle and an LMG at the same time.

I'd definitely support having more civilian rifles like the CZ, or more civilian weapons in general, but removing them completely is stupid. I'd seriously doubt you'd be able to spot me if I had a wookie suit and an SVD from a mile away, hell, I'd doubt you'd be able to spot me at all unless you were right on top of me and paying attention, I've had people bump into me while I was prone under a tree providing overwatch, and they didn't even realize I was there.

I've had a lot of trouble finding matches in my time as well, I'd spawn, get most survival tools and I'd have no matches EVERY SINGLE TIME. I think I actually spent a week or so running from the NW airfield to berezino just so I could cook my meat at the barrels, and then run back again, fun times.

No loot? You have 3 god damn deer stands right in front of you and the airfield is directly north of you, I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that some people actually like to avoid being sniped by spawning in small towns and not in the warzone that is cherno/elektro.

DMR is zero'd to 300 meters I believe, it's not a sniper rifle, it's a designated marksman rifle, can't expect it to hit targets from miles aways.

Because a lot of kids are annoying. But it doesn't mean older ''kids'' aren't annoying as well, I've played with older people that acted like fucking children and almost made me want to shoot them in the leg and run.

Wait until you join a regular arma server and the first thing you hear is a kid talking over side-chat or throwing a fit because the helicopter pilot wouldn't let him randomly fire the heli gun at base.

Elektro hills, don't bother sneaking up on them, the moment they hear you they'll ALT+F4 because they know they're fucked, either log on behind them and shoot them right away or try shooting them from a blind spot, considering you can't see much when you're scoping in. Cherno industrial area, there are perhaps 2-3 spots, both very hard to get there without getting shot or heard, best thing you could do is log on behind them, shoot them, take their shit and leave, or, blind spots yet again, although hitting them is a lot harder than hitting elektro hill snipers, considering they have a lot more cover. IF you want to hunt sniper any other place just check the treeline and watch out for huge guns sticking out of a flat bush next to a tree.

I like to join ''No PVP'' servers with side chat enabled, pretend I'm friendly and then shoot them in the back of the head. If that makes me a ''Pimply-faced teenager'' then so be it, I think it's hilarious when someone trusts a complete stranger, and then turn their back on them, and then complain they got shot in the back, beans always taste better with tears. Are you squidding me? It takes about an hour to run all the way up to the NW airfield and get military grade weapons, if you spend an entire day playing the game and not get shot to death you've pretty much had enough time to obtain everything in the game, it's why dayz isn't anything other than a PVP game mode with zombies added in to make you think about your shots, because honestly what else are you going to do when you're basically geared up to all hell and no longer need to even go into towns to survive? Walk around the woods for hours and kill animals/fill canteens?
