It seems to intimidate people for some reason when I talk in chat. "Anyone want to team up?", "Why would we team up with a guy with Bandit in his name?" XD Ive tried to explain to people Im only a harmful bandit on the east side of Chenarus, but it doesnt seem to work out too well. Well he was really stupid about it, considering he did it 3 times, though I dont have the screenshot of the first one. Anyhow thanks!

Seems I found a guy twice who attempted to attack our group as we moved from Prigordiki to Elecktro. I had killed him first in the forest in Prigordiki where he died with 2 Mk 48 Mod 0, and a AS50 Anti-Material Rifle. A few moments later, I heard more gunshots towards the vicinity of the beach, where a part of our group was, DunGoofed was again shot down by our group of 4 or so people. I searched his body to discover he had spawned with a DMR and NVG Goggles. The evidence provided in these screenshots: And shortly after, found the box: As our group then approached Elecktro on the shore, I spotted the player and got confirmation of the name and his use of the box: And the proof of his weapons he took from there once more:

We made a video on our journey up north around a kindling campfire, what a lovely night that was, so much singing around the campfire and the effort of making the video was wonderful. Until another day on the mountain.....

Seems I've had similar issues being where I was looting a hospital in Cherno with a friend and log out. Came back the next day unconscious on the hospital floor having to wait almost 2-3 minutes to get back up. As well as happening another time, I was outside of the Supermarket in Cherno upon spawning to be unconscious once more for the same time period. Date: 5/20/12 Current Version: 1.5.8 Server: TX1 and I believe Dallas 8 My System Specs: AMD FX-8120, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, and a NVIDIA 560 Ti 448 Core Edition. *Timeline of events before/after error: Explained above

So as a survivor, I began my entrance to Chernogorsk and fell upon none other than a CZ with 8 mags. Me being a survivor and having an overall bad experience with survivors and bandits decided it was time to go bandit. I make my ascend on the ladder of the tower on the outskirts and see none other than another bandit with a survivor attempting to sneak behind him and kill him from the back. I ready my shot and lower my breath to get a steady shot, this survivor was mine and he didnt even know it. The survivor pulls out his Winchester and readies his shot think he is sneaky and all. "Boom!", his world was ended by a magnificent headshot. The bandit begins looking around and of course sees me in my new bandit skin. He believes his beans and himself were safe from me; he salutes me thinking he is safe and I'm not hostile. "Boom!", my CZ unloaded another bullet into his head. The feeling was energizing, I made my descent and toward his location, looted all his beans, ate them all, and laughed as the chat filled with comments attempting to flame me. Ah, the life of a bandit!

Confess your sins here - The worst thing you've d
wweee2345 replied to Maedis's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Probably the worst thing I could've done was save a whole town of survivors from a bandit sniper (being a bandit myself). Just to have the whole server of survivors attempt to kill me while throwing cans off the building I was sniping off of; in the process attracting hordes toward the survivors. And then played it off in chat as me being a helpless survivor to lure them in. The saps will fall for anything -

The whole point of dying in-game is to somewhat apply a New Life Rule. Basically meaning it's a new character, being a new survivor who knows nothing about the past other than a zombie outbreak happened. Dying is part of the game and all of us deal with it, that's why there is loot all over the map to serve the purpose of those whom have died. It would logically not make sense with the realism that DayZ presents per example: I just died, how is a body going to transfer from my dead body to a new body that just spawned on the coast being your new character. I personally support the simulation DayZ brings and would liek to keep it that way :3

As of now, We have several empty tin cans around the world that are fairly common in many places. As many know, the only use of a Empty tin can is as a distraction for zombies, which doesn't always work (Yes, I realize it's still Alpha). With regards to an increased use of cans comes to my suggestion: While walking around the world I see several patches of vegetables and fruits, which have no use other than visual. Thus to make us of these, it would be possible to can these fruits by first harvesting them with a hunting knife and then sealing it in an Empty Tin Can. The process could most likely be enhanced to be more difficult following the theme of scavenging in DayZ. Tell me what you think, Best Regards, Wweee2345
