That happened twice to me on back to back spawns on the same server. The guy was using a teleport script to pop in on my six and blast me with a makarov before I could see him. We were the only 2 on the server and happened in two locations on opposite ends of the map. In your case he probably server hopped to a single player server and teleported right to you which is why you thought you were the only one there.

I put on camo clothing yesterday and lost my pack and everything in it. I always take the pack off before changing clothing now. Found a ghille yesterday also and took of the pack, put on the ghille, and another pack was on me when I put the ghille on. Dropped it, put on my pack and all is well.

I understand how you feel though. We've all been thru the ordeal where we build up our gear just to get it wiped by some punk hacker. I would much rather have died from someone legitimately sneaking up behind me and blowing me away than have a hacker appear on my six out of nowhere and fill me with a round of mak shots. As far as private hives... aren't they mostly locked and you have to know someone to get on? I've tried Special Ops and a couple others and can never get on them.

my humanity changes every time i log out and back in. seems to be no real rhyme or reason for the changes.

Only 2 peeps on US 135 (with a space). I'm in end game gear approaching the airfield from the north side and suddenly get shot from behind. Okay, I thought no big deal... he got a good kill on me. But what are the odds of that happening with only 2 on the entire map? So I logged again on the coast and was perusing an industrial complex and here he comes again. No weapon to defend myself so he gets another kill. He had a pistol and wasn't in a ghille or anything so he was probably just using a teleport cheat. Name is "sixgod" so beware this dude. Edit: Timezone is GMT -5 (US eastern), occurred around 11:00 AM.

The tents I've setup in 1.7.2.5 that I placed some top level weapons in and then saved the tents were empty after server restarts. Tried with 3 different tents, all the same result.

BE just kicked me too... on relog I'm stuck at loading so guess I'll spawn on coast with end game gear and dodge bullets and fight my way back up north. gotta luv it.

ugh. i just got kicked also for script restriction while fueling a vehicle. Now I'm stuck at loading screen. Oh boy... now I get to spawn on the coast with end game gear... ghille, AIM, nvg, gps and all that shit (all legitimate for the haters lol). fun fun on dayz.

I've seen it on some servers and not on others. It's irritating to me when they appear under building roofs like shown in the pic a few posts above. Like xray vision or something... should not be showing there for sure.
